First Sharp Brand Ambassador 2022 announced

In celebration of its 40th Anniversary last October 2021, Sharp Philippines launched an online contest. Contestants underwent a series of online tasks, from posting photos to creating videos using their Sharp products. During the competition, numerous participants joined, later narrowed down to the Top 40 semi-finalists.

After rigid evaluation by the Sharp Team, the top 5 finalists emerged: Iris Acosta, Rose Ann Alejandro, Pablo Rico Guevarra, David Natividad, and Joana Mesyl Saligumba.

Last May 18, 2022, Sharp Philippines announced Joana Mesyl Saligumba as Sharp’s newest brand ambassador. Saligumba passionately posted photos and videos of Sharp products and how they impacted her life and her family. The event, by the way, happened at the B Hotel in Alabang.

Uplifting the Filipinos’ lives

In the final round, Saligumba proved she deserves to be the next Sharp Brand Ambassador. Her passion and enthusiasm for continuously endorsing Sharp, in a way, became instrumental in continuing to uplift Filipinos’ lives. As a result, she received P100,000 worth of Sharp appliances and an exclusive one-year Sharp Brand Ambassador Contract.

Saligumba shared, “It was a meaningful journey with my ka40’s & Sharp Philippines. Cheers to a fruitful experience as I now take the task of being your real-life Sharp Brand Ambassador for a year. Aja!”

As a Mom of four, Saligumba has proven her love for her family is like nothing else in the world. She provides a balanced lifestyle with the help of owning reliable Sharp products. Saligumba is a full-time mom and entrepreneur. She is also a solid Sharp product user. As the Sharp ambassador, she is tasked to share her mommy tips and practical pieces of advice while using Sharp products.

Celebrating milestones

Sharp Philippines also expressed its appreciation to everyone who participated in the Search for the Real Life Sharp Brand Ambassador Contest. The team is thrilled to share this milestone with the continuous celebration of its 40th Anniversary. 

Now, Saligumba is set out to endorse Sharp products officially. She will release a series of video and photo content that everyone can look forward to. Aside from the digital platform, she will also be seen at some of the Sharp events in the future.
