Tecno and RSG partner for esports

TECNO, a leading global smartphone brand known for innovation, and RSG, a premier esports organization in Southeast Asia, are embarking on a year-long collaboration to bolster competitive gaming and nurture esports communities in the Philippines and Malaysia. This partnership, commencing in April 2024, builds upon a successful venture initiated in 2023.

As part of this year’s endeavor, TECNO will continue supporting RSG Philippines while extending its backing to RSG Malaysia in its esports endeavors. The alliance will also see the co-creation of community-driven esports outreach programs tailored for both countries. Additionally, RSG players will serve as TECNO’s official gaming ambassadors. The ultimate goal of this partnership is to raise the bar for competitive esports, foster deeper engagement among players, content creators, and the public, and ignite enthusiasm within the esports communities of the Philippines and Malaysia.

In the realm of competitive gaming, RSG Philippines and RSG Malaysia players will proudly display TECNO’s logo on their jerseys as they gear up for the upcoming MPL PH and MPL MY Season 13 tournaments. TECNO’s support will empower the teams in their quest to set new standards in esports. Fans can anticipate an array of engaging content and gaming activities, commencing with the community livestream, Raider’s Rumble 2.0, scheduled for late March. Additionally, the professional players from RSG Philippines and RSG Malaysia will serve as TECNO’s official gaming ambassadors for 2024, coinciding with the launch of TECNO POVA 6 PRO in the Philippines in March and TECNO POVA 6 PRO 5G in Malaysia in April 2024.

RSG Philippines, a dominant force in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports, recently won the ONE Esports MPL Invitational (MPLI) 2023 and the Mobile Legends SEA Cup 2022. Similarly, RSG Malaysia, renowned for its prowess in MLBB esports, secured the title of champion in the Kohai SEA Championship Season 2 in 2023 and the MPL Malaysia Season 7.
