Making up for lost time.
My bunso who has been nagging me years before to join the McDonald’s summer workshop is now a certified kiddie staff. Thank God his interest to join is still intact and his age still very much qualified.
When asked if he enjoyed his short stint as one of McDo’s kiddie crew, he happily replied “yes!” Also, aside from enjoying his much-awaited break from school work, I am positive he learned the value of responsibility and customer service while hitting the floor in a fun and busy environment. I guess even his interpersonal skills improved.
On our way home, he excitedly relayed to me that they had a tour of the kitchen and storage area, went inside the refrigerator which is -10 degrees Celsius cold, was asked to make a Coke float, and delivered fries and chicken to customers. He is excited for the coming days when they will be taught to make a burger patty.
They say we cannot make up for lost time. Maybe. But I am certain that I can always do better in the future. And my future is our NOW. Thank you for the opportunity. One of the perks of being a stay-at-home mom.
He is such a cutie!!! Nakita na ba sya ni lola at work as a kiddie crew? How i wish i can see him inaction too!
Hahaha.
Hahaha! Lalong lalaki ang pisngi ni bunso.
Oo! Panay hot fudge. At butas na butas na bulsa Ko. Hahaha
Wala ba syang sweldo? Lol
Haha, wala. Kami pa nagbayad for him to be a part of the kiddie crew. P595.00.
