I remember a week before I gave birth, I had some false contractions. I headed to the hospital for check up. I just want to make sure the baby was fine. Also, I underwent a pre-labor examination. Then I got a call from my boys’ school. Bunso was at the school clinic. He threw up after lunch and complained of headache. My boy had a slight fever, the school staff told me. The kind school personnel asked Bunso should he call his mother. His reply? “No need to bother her as I don’t want her to worry.”
Oh my boy, you are so dear to me I would go there should you need me. But I really do appreciate your concern for your mama. You must have remembered that I cried the other day because of the pain and discomfort pregnancy contraction gave me.
Thank you for your concern and love. But please, allow your mama to be part of your pain, too, as I would never ever get tired of taking care of you. I love you dearly, my Bunso.
Now, we have our new baby in the family. And even at your young age, you show great concern to him. When I asked you to look after him while I collect some milk, you didn’t think twice.
Then I saw how you tenderly massage your little brother’s head. And when I came nearby, I heard you singing to him.
Oh, you are such a very sweet boy. Thank you very much. I pray to God that you will remain responsible and sweet.
