giving thanks to the teachers
They say good education can spark change in anyone, but a great teacher can change everything. As a mom who has witnessed teachers shape my own children’s love for learning, I find this truth deeply moving. For Teachers’ Month, Power Mac Center (PMC) brings this thought to life through its campaign “To My Teacher.” It’s all about giving thanks to the teachers, professors, and mentors who have guided us like second parents, especially those who have embraced technology to help today’s students thrive.

This initiative includes on-campus activities, an online contest, and special promotions for students and educators. Through these efforts, PMC continues to demonstrate its support for academia by providing technology and solutions that help modern classrooms move forward.
“‘Thank you’ is a powerful message, and we want more teachers to receive it and realize the ripple effects of their efforts and sacrifices. At Power Mac Center, we amplify that message by empowering educators and students with the technology, training, and support that extend learning’s reach,” said PMC Director for Marketing and Product Management Joey Alvarez.
Writing messages of gratitude on campus
There is something special about seeing students express their thanks in their own handwriting. PMC is setting up “Wall of Thanks” stations in its campus stores where students can write heartfelt notes for their teachers on colorful sticky notes and post them on a dedicated board. It’s a simple yet beautiful way to express gratitude.
The photo walls will be open from October 1 to 4, 2025, at the University of Santo Tomas, UP Shopping Center, and De La Salle University Manila. Visitors can also take home PMC merchandise as a token of appreciation.
To make the celebration more meaningful, a Mac Clinic booth will be available, where students and faculty can enjoy free external device cleaning, assessments, and consultations. Here’s where you can catch them:
- University of Santo Tomas — October 1, 2025
- UP Shopping Center — October 2, 2025
- De La Salle University Manila — October 3, 2025
Share your story online

If you can’t visit a campus booth, you can still join the fun online. Students can post a photo with their favorite teacher on Facebook and write a message starting with “To my teacher, ___.” The idea is to share how your teacher has made learning more inspiring through the use of technology.
Just use the hashtag #PMCToMyTeacher, set your post to public, and submit your entry through this form: https://forms.gle/bmcEFxKPCF26pQLF8. Each person can submit only one entry until October 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
Six winners will each receive a P3,000 Power Mac Center Gift Certificate and an accessory bundle worth P6,000. Winners will be announced on Power Mac Center’s official Facebook page and contacted via email.
A celebration with rewards
Even everyday purchases can be a way to show appreciation for our teachers. You can download the new 1 Infinite app from the App Store or Google Play and earn points every time you shop. Members in the Connected, Lunar, and Stellar tiers earn one point for every P200 spent, while Astra and Cosmos members earn one point for every P100.
Points can be redeemed for Apple products, accessories, and select services and training courses, where one point is equivalent to one peso. Members can also get up to 50 percent off Apple training and enjoy exclusive perks from Basecamp and Mobile Care, PMC’s training and service arms.
Supporting teachers through technology
Power Mac Center is not just celebrating teachers for one month. It continues to work with schools and universities nationwide as an Apple Authorized Education Reseller and Apple Professional Learning Provider. The goal is to help educators utilize technology as a powerful tool in their teaching.
Parents like me see how teachers go the extra mile every day. They strike a balance between compassion, creativity, and innovation, often with limited resources. Through campaigns like “To My Teacher,” Power Mac Center reminds us that gratitude matters and that empowering educators with the right tools helps every child learn better.
