This mother attended the launch of a worthy endeavor and she encourages everyone to join the campaign, too. Aptly named #LahatSanta, this campaign is Save the Children’s Christmas program to give everyone the opportunity to become Santa to poor children.
Save the Children’s #LahatSanta
Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. Since 1981, they help Filipino children grow up healthy and well-nourished. Through their various activities, they are able to provide poor families access to their basic needs and also sustainable livelihood opportunities. This Christmas, they aim to raise funds to support more youngsters and use the money to provide treatment to babies suffering from malnutrition. They also hope that the money they would collect will help expand their many programs centered to impact the lives of the malnourished babies.
To be a hero, one needs to sign up at www.lahatsanta.com. Save the Children will provide participants a free fundraising kit inclusive of a coin bank, a Christmas poster, and a Santa hat. Those who signed up may do their own fundraising ways and later turn over the money to Save the Children.
To make the fundraising activity fun, everyone needs to wear the Santa hat on December 15. Then he will make a shout on social media about his ways to raise money using the hashtag #LahatSanta. Two days after the big shout out, a fun run will follow, organized to benefit Save the Children’s Christmas campaign.
As there are a dozen and more ways to raise money, Save the Children makes it easier and shares a few fundraising ideas.
#LahatSanta Fundraising Ideas
- Classic Christmas Caroling (go house to house and sing Christmas carols)
- Sell Santa-approved treats (brownies, cookies and other yummy treats)
- Christmas Sell-ebration (Sell-ebrate the holidays by selling various products and even offer services)
- Pass the Santa Hat (make Christmas party more meaningful by turning it into a fundraising event)
If you find this endeavor a worthy one, join the #LahatSanta campaign. All donations will help protect every child’s right to survive, learn, and be protected. Moreover, the money will be used to support Save the Children’s other campaigns against child malnutrition. It has always been and will always be Save the Children’s aim to ensure that malnourished kids are treated and monitored until their full recovery.
Be a hero, wear your Santa hat.

This is a good fundraising event. I’m sure a lot of kids will be happy this holiday. I also have a friend who organized a visit to orphanage and this post reminds me na hindi ko pa naasikaso yung ibibigay ko. “May no gift be too small to give, nor too simple to receive, which is wrapped in thoughtfulness and tied with love”
Wow, I love the idea. Nakakatuwa! Indeed #LahatSanta, I love the advocacy. Christmas is all about sharing and this fundraising will definitely help many children. Thank you for sharing this 🙂
Wow!
Nice fundraising idea from Save the Children.
Sharing this Christmas season is a great idea to celebrate it 🙂
This is a smart idea. December is really about giving for me. This is what I’m trying to teach Nate – to share. ‘Coz he has “damot days”. And I mean it shouldn’t be just during December but every day/week month.
This is a wonderful campaign! I find joy every time I read or hear of these kinds of projects. Gives me hope that truly good will always triumph. 🙂 I wish more people would do good things, not just during the Christmas season but all year round. 🙂
