Momi Berlin loves cleaning the house. Perhaps it is one of the traits she got from her grandmother. She also grew up seeing how her mother values a tidy home.
I could spend hours cleaning the house and emerged extra energetic after that. The smell of a multi-purpose cleaner and the sound of scrub against the floor delight me. Maybe weird but cleaning satisfies my ego.
Recently, I learned that some of my cleaning efforts were futile. Though cleaning is the process of removing soil and dirt from a surface, it only becomes effective if one uses the right cleaning solution.
Sometimes, I have been using the wrong cleaning agent thus despite my effort to whiten our bathroom tiles, for instance, it remains tarnished. Money and energy were put to waste.
Powerclean Chemicals
I spent one Saturday learning about cleaning solutions. I was introduced to Powerclean Chemicals, one of the fastest rising brands in the cleaning chemical business. It has a wide variety of cleaning solutions used in many laundry shops, janitorial companies, restaurants, spa, car wash, and other industrial institutions. I told myself then that if these companies trust Powerclean Chemicals, there is no harm if I try it myself. After all, the brand is also known to be the “Panlinis na Mura at Dekalidad Pa.”
A wide variety of cleaning agents
As mentioned, Powerclean Chemicals carries a variety of cleaning solutions. Each has its particular function to make cleaning easy and efficient. Also, not all cleaning agents are safe to use on food-contact surfaces as well as use with bare hands.
Detergents
All detergents contain surfactants. Also called surface-active agent, surfactants reduce surface tension in clothes giving the soap the power to penetrate quickly and soften the soil. Detergents work best in washing clothes.
There was a time I used detergent soap to wash the dishes. Both anyway use surfactants to do most of the cleaning. However, I learned that laundry products have whitening agents (like bleach) and softeners not needed in washing the dishes. Though I could use either to somewhat replace the other, it cannot be as effective. Fabrics and dishes have different cleaning requirements.
Liquid bleach
Liquid bleach is effective in removing stains and whitening white fabrics. It can also be used for all-purpose & all-surface cleaning. Also, it can act as a disinfectant to kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi, including molds and mildew.
Using liquid bleach to clean the garage, for instance, is not practical. Though liquid bleach can disinfect, it is money-wise to use a multi-purpose cleaner instead. The latter is a lot cheaper and addresses the need to clean and disinfect the area better.
Multi-purpose cleaner
Formulated to clean efficiently and conveniently, a multi-purpose cleaner is an ideal solution to clean different areas of the house. It is best to use on bathroom tiles and the garage. One can also use it to mop down tiles or linoleum flooring. One needs to dilute the solution in a bucket of water before using it.
No single cleaning solution is created equal
It is no surprise that various household cleaners are available in the market, each formulated differently to clean efficiently and conveniently. It is wiser for moms like us to know each product and its uses before applying them. That would help us save time and money.
And if you are looking for a one-stop shop to provide all your cleaning needs, you may opt to try Powerclean Chemicals. They just recently launched their Powerclean Bahay Pack.
The Powerclean Bahay Pack
The Powerclean Bahay pack is every mom’s household cleaning aid. Priced at P678.00, you get to have the following: detergent powder, liquid detergent, liquid bleach, fabric softener, toilet bowl cleaner, multi-purpose cleaner, air freshener, wax, dishwashing liquid, and liquid hand soap.
Everything inside the pack is a must for every home. Momi Berlin got to bring home a sample of each and tried them at home. I must say Powerclean Chemicals offers quality, affordable cleaning products. I particularly love their multi-purpose cleaner while my mom uses and commends the liquid hand soap.

agree that not all cleaning agents are created equal. but i’m more surprised that you actually enjoy cleaning up! i gotta take my hat off to you! i’ll definitely run away from any sorts of cleaning if i get the chance to.
I love vacuuming the house! Especially since we have a toddler who leaves food and crumbs everywhere as you can imagine. I do not like cleaning with things like bleach as the smell is way too strong for me.
Cleaning is an essential part of keeping the home in good condition and of course in good health. It is true that not all cleaning agents are equal. That is why it is always essential to find the best cleaning products for the home. Thanks for sharing about these cleaning products.
The only problem with us and cleaners is allergies. I have a very sensitive 10 year old. But you are right, no cleaner is created equal. I have to use basically alcohol and vinegar. No bleach, no scents. Anything. You have a great variety of cleaners, I feel like I spend too much time cleaning without many results but I am in a tight spot so, we manage.
I don’t enjoy cleaning my home, at least not before the process of cleaning starts. But then, I am really happy that my home shines after I am done with cleaning. And you are right, not all of the cleaning agents are the same. I have a few of my favorites, but I will make sure these are also tested next time I decide to clean.
