More on sweet gestures from Big Bunso through the years. Some, I cannot anymore remember the year while others do not have accompanying photos. But then, good thing I was able to write them down.
SWEET GESTURES on Feet Alarm
August 8, 2011
Big Bunso: Do you want to know my secret on how I always wake up early?
Momi Berlin: Yes, please.
Big Bunso: Whenever we sleep, I always put my feet near yours. When I cannot feel your feet anymore, that means you were up already. I will then wake up and join you for breakfast.

SWEET GESTURES on special gift
Big Bunso: Mama, I have something for you (hiding something, his hands behind his back)
Momi Berlin: What is it, my Big Bunso?
Big Bunso: A special gift.
Momi Berlin: Oh, but why?
Big Bunso: Because you’re always so good to me.
(I cannot even remember the year and what the special gift was.)

SWEET GESTURES on errand boy
April 10, 2013
I spent my “Araw ng Kagitingan” in bed.
I had stomach cramps yesterday. I stayed in bed. And my Big Bunso stayed with me.
I asked him to go down and play with his brothers. He lovingly answered that he would want to stay beside me and do simple errands like fetch me a glass of water or ask him to get a book to read.

SWEET GESTURES on babysitting
August 17, 2015
I remember a week before I gave birth, I had some false contractions. I headed to the hospital for check up. I just wanted to make sure the baby was fine. Also, I underwent a pre-labor examination. Then I got a call from my boys’ school. Big Bunso was at the school clinic. He threw up after lunch and complained of headache. My boy had a slight fever, the school staff told me. The kind school personnel asked Bunso should he call his mother. His reply? “No need to bother her as I don’t want her to worry.”
Oh my boy, you are so dear to me I would go there should you need me. But I really do appreciate your concern for your mama. You must have remembered that I cried the other day because of the pain and discomfort pregnancy contraction gave me.
Thank you for your concern and love. But please, allow your mama to be part of your pain, too, as I would never ever get tired of taking care of you. I love you dearly, my Big Bunso.
Now, we have our new baby in the family. And even at your young age, you show great concern for him. When I asked you to look after him while I collect some milk, you didn’t think twice.
Then I saw how you tenderly massage your little brother’s head. And when I came nearby, I heard you singing to him.
Oh, you are such a very sweet boy. Thank you very much. I pray to God that you remain responsible and sweet.
Yung tipong nag start ako sa konting smiles and lauhs, hanggang sa umabot na ako sa awwwwwww… sana ganun rin yung transition ng anak ko nung nagkaroon kami ng new baby, kaso medyo rocky ang start. buti na lang naiba na ngayon ang hangin at bati na sila and love na ni ate Jenae si baby rafraf 😀 keep em coming with these anecdotes.. 😀
Awww din kay Ate Jenae. Would love to read din stories ng kids mo 🙂

Awww, such a sweet boy. I believe the mother has a great influence on kids. Congrats, mom for raising a sweet kid. How I wish we could all raise up a generation of gentlemen. =)
Thank you. I also wish for that, too.
Aahhh… Nakakatuwa naman.. Such gestures from kids simply means that they were mentored by a good mom. You are doing a great job for raising wonderful kids Mommy Berlin 🙂
Thank you. And I hope he be the more sweet and kind when he is older na.

Your big Bunso and mine tend to be the sweetest kuyas. 🙂 hello to the new bundle of joy.
Daniel is super sweet, no? ‘Pag ako ginanun ni Nate, baka maluha ako! haha. Talagang kinakantahan pa si Yael e. Mukhang di sya nagselos pagdating ni Yael, and I’m happy for that! Idk when I’ll see your boys again!
Hihi. Yes. He can be the sweetest. Surely lagi kang kakantahan ni nate, may guitara pang kasama 🙂
Awww sweet stories indeed! And omg I love that picture. I love sons haha!

Aaawwwee!!! You have one loving kid, Ms. Berlin. Super sweet, my eyes go on heart emojis while reading this. You are raising them well, supermom. I hope I can have kids as sweet as yours..someday. Hehe!
Thank you. Hope he really be that sweet even if he becomes a teen already.
Awww so sweet naman ng Big bunso mo sis, Your such a good mother and worth it to raise kids like them so responsible and kind like you 🙂
Thank you for the kind words, Melisa. 🙂
Your Bunso sounds like the sweetest boy! I think as long as you cherish that in him, he will stay that way. Teenage years are hard but I have a feeling when he gets there he will be ok. God bless.
Thank you. Hope he continues to be the sweetest even if he is a teenager already or even if he has his own family (really forward thinking 🙂 )
Your post made me miss my mom. She died two years ago but I still feel that she’s just watching over me. I am her bunso too. It’s true that you should cherish every waking moment with your kids. Your bunso is so lucky to have such a wonderful kuya.
I feel you on missing your mom. Of course she will always be there for you in spirit and watching over you.
Awwwwww this is so heartwarming to read. You’re so blessed to have your big bunso. I was going aww at every encounter. More blessings to you and your family! <3
Thank you. More blessings as well to you and your family.
I only have a few words to say, Awwwwww!!! He’s such a loving son. You are both lucky to have each other. You must be so proud of him!
So proud of him. Thank you.
Your anecdotes surely make me reminisce my childhood. But still I enjoy the company of mom and I’m still clingy with her at times. Anyway, as always, your sons are very loving and sweet. Hope they remain that way until they grow up. God bless!
I really hope they will remain sweet and responsible until they grow up. Hihi, I could imagine you being too clingy and the mother loving it for sure.
you are so lucky to have a boy like him… he is just so sweet… wish my children can be like that…but but kids all have a love hate relationship…they fight but the next few minutes will make up
Haha. My boys too would fight over silly and small things and after a few minutes will be best friends again. Haha
Super sweet! Kahit na hindi na sya bunso, sweet pa din sya sa younger brother. I hope ganyan din sila kambal pagdating ng new baby namin. You are so lucky to have him. 🙂
Surely your twins will be extra sweet and caring sa new bundle of joy ninyo.
aw, so sweet naman talaga… wish ko din yan with my boys… funny how time flies, soon they’ll all be grown ups, mahiya na even mag-goodbye kiss hehehe..
Your son is so sweet and charming.
Thank you.:) All kids, I guess, are sweet especially if they are treated the same.
Awww…kaya tuloy ang hirap nila tiisin minsan pag may hinihingi eh, haha. My kids also says the sweetest things. 🙂
Sarap magkaanak, no? Ihihi
awww.. that is so sweet of him…he reminds me of my little brother.. but it is so sad that time is really running so fast and my little brother is already n”nagbibinata” haha so he is not so malambing anymore haha
Hahaha. Yes, my two other boys are nagbibinata na rin so they arent that malambing na rin.

What a sweet boy! I’m excited (though our plan is not too soon) to see how my baby Liam will transition to a kuya. You gave me an idea, mommy… I’ll keep memos of our sweet convos too. 🙂
Hihi. Yes, i would be something you could read from time to time and you will find yourself giggling or even crying alone.
Such a sweet boy! It just shows how good you have raised hi, 🙂 I have 2 girls and they are the sweetest kids pero sabi nila iba daw ang love ng baby boy sa moms nila. So far, I can attest to it naman. I just melt everytime my son smiles at me.
Aw. Boys really have their ways to charm their parents, moms especially.
So cute and sweet. I love reading these short stories about your kid’s sweet gestures.
Thank you. Hope they remain sweet kahit grown ups na talaga sila. Ihihi
So sweet, I actually got teary eyed reading this.
How fast kids grow these days. I could only sigh
