It has been said that in a room of 23 people, there is a 50-50 chance of two individuals having the same birthday. In a room of 75, there is a 99.9% chance of two people matching. That afternoon, we were about a hundred or less and yes, two remarkable girls share the same birthday.
I love her because of her pretty face. I love her more because of her soulful voice. And I love her best because of her groove and toned body. Perhaps, add to that, we have the same birthday. She may not know me but I love Vina Morales.
I met her in person yesterday at the press conference of “Vina @ Thirty” at the Chivz Lounge Bar. A known world-class performer, she all the more earned my admiration with her groove and powerful voice. She is set to perform at the KIA Theater this October 14. This is to celebrate her 30 years in show business. The show will also be a birthday concert for her as she turns 41 this October 17.

The sultry singer-actress will not only sing but will move and dance as well. Johnny Manahan directs while Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy of G-Force choreographs. Definitely high-energy dance numbers are expected which will keep the audience on their feet.
“Vina @ thirty” will have friends Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcacid, and Robin Padilla as guests. Her family Shaina Magdayao and Ceana (her little princess) will also grace the show.
Back at the Chivz Lounge Bar yesterday, Vina sang and danced- much to everyone’s delight. The short number was fantastic, indeed entertaining. She wouldn’t be touted as one of Philippines’ best performers for nothing. She is so passionate about her craft it resonates in her voice and radiates in her every move. Perhaps that’s the reason that I love her aside from the fact that we share the same birthday.

Yes, she knows how to take care of her body as well as her voice and skin. Having Ogie Alcacid as guest is a nice move as well. Love his humor, stage presence, and singing voice.
Woah there! She’s turning 41? I thought the Vina @ 30 was her age. Hahahaha! I so got confused. She’s like an immortal when it comes to that industry. She sings well, performs well and “ages” well. Even seeing her on BFY is so amazing. Her acting skills is just as well her performing skills. Kudos to her!

A short but quite entertaining post, I must say. She recently had a small concert at one of the hotels here in Naga, Bicol, and I was able to see her perform up close as it was an intimate setup. Vina has a voice that really sticks, you know? Marinig mo lang sa radyo, you know it’s her singing. A mark of a one-of-a-kind star. Love the trivia you mentioned at the beginning.

staying 30 years in showbiz is really not easy… For me Vina managed to play it safe .. she’s not on the mainstream but she was never out of the picture sa showbiz… My mom and I love watching some of her movies and I would love to see her again acting for big screen.. she is indeed a very talented actress and a singer (her voice is very distinct). And yeah, she looks so young for her age.. so beautiful

Vina is such an inspiraltion, I grew up watching her on tv in my teenage years. And she is just amazing. And I also like how she handled her finances and her positive mindset. It’s amazing to know that she will have her birthday concert for 30 years in the business

Vina is more beautiful now compare from the past years when she has her masculine body. Although her love life is not that in good terms but thankful that she has her friends to support her. Good things she will be having her birthday concert.
