Anecdotes from tots is a compilation of those  fun things my kids said and did when they were still little boys.
FROM TOTS ON PIMPLEFUL PUPPET
March 13, 2014
IÂ got this puppet from Bunso. Â He told me the puppet was me. Â He stressed that the little dots were my pimples.
You are really a very honest kid, my darling. Â And don’t worry, you didn’t hurt me that much. Â ihihihi.

FROM TOTS ON FRIDAY JOKE TIME
June 2014
Our  usual jolly Friday dinner at the small house.  The boys were exchanging knock knock jokes.  And even this mother wasn’t spared.
bunso: Â mama, anong hayop ang paa ay nasa ulo?
momi: Â hmm. siret
bunso: Â you have to exert effort and think, mama.
momi: Â (after several hmms and amm). Â can’t really think of any animal, my son.
bunso: Â KUTO! Â diba, nakapatong ang paa ng kuto sa ulo ng tao? Â hahaahah
bunso: Â another one. Â ano ang ginagawa ng tao sa buong mundo na sabay sabay?
momi: Â kumakain, naglalakad, natutulog….. siret.
bunso: Â tumatanda!
momi: Â (poker face) ok.
bunso: Â last one, promise! Â ano ang hindi pwede gawin ng tao sa umaga?
momi: Â matulog? Â kumanta? Â kumain?
bunso: Â so easy! Â magpuyat!
momi: Â oo nga naman.
second son: Â my turn, mama.
momi: Â ok. Â your turn.
second son: Â follow me, ok? Â may pulang kotse.
momi: Â may pulang kotse.
second son: Â may blue van.
momi: Â may blue van.
second son: Â may black bus.
momi: Â may black bus.
second son: Â what is the color of the bus?
momi: Â black.
second son: Â you’re wrong! Â i told you — you need to follow me!
momi: ok…. Â now, lets finish eating dinner.
In our household, the mother has the last say. Â ihihihihi.

FROMTOTS ON LAZY MONDAY AM
March 26, 2014
With no school around, the kids have more time to play or watch their favorite televisions shows.
Bad thing though I can’t even enjoy my rocking chair.  Seems like someone has already been well-positioned.  In addition, he is even consuming my bucketful of iced gems!

FROM TOTS ON FATE OF THE ICE CANDY BUSINESS
April 22, 2014
The small house is now open for business. We are offering Hersheys-flavored ice candy.
Yet, that was what I’ve thought.
First, I left the house to report for work. Â Then IÂ returned home that night. Â And the ice candy container was almost empty.
Probably, the sales of the boys was big time.  On the contrary, it was the boys who ate most of the ice candy.  They  told me they were pretty excited grabbing and “tasting” the ice candy.
“Could not get enough,” was their simple answer.
And so, the children’s first business venture was indeed a success.  My boys can’t resist the temptation of grabbing one tube after another. They have sold out the ice candy though no return on investment was evident.

FROM TOTS ON BRIBE OR GIFT
June 6, 2014
Bunso: I want to give this to you.
Momi: Â And why is that?
Bunso:  Because you wrapped with plastic cover all my books and notebooks.
Momi: Â Thank you, bunso.
Bunso: Â No. Â It should be: Â I thank you, mama.

FROM TOTS ON LOOM BANDS CRAZE
June 7, 2014
Usually, kids love fads. Â They would spend their day exploring and would even diligently learn things that interest them. Â Bunso was no exception. Â He was bitten by the rainbow loom craze. Â And he encouraged his older brothers to join him.

FROM TOTS ON LOOM BANDSÂ AGAIN
June 26, 2014
First, he left me alone last night. Â I was drinking my tea downstairs. Â Then, when IÂ went up, IÂ saw him busy with this –

FROM TOTS ON LOOM BANDSÂ AGAIN AND AGAIN
July 2014
First, it’s only our bunso.  Now, even the firstborn is spending the time to make loom bands. For days now, my boys aren’t holding their favorite toys.  The loom bands are their latest playground craze!
So, do you have a loom band? IÂ got mine from my boys who would even recommend the proper color combination. As these loom bands are now a children’s fad, they as well complete my fashion statement. Â Â Even the Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing one during one royal gathering.

FROM TOTS ON ANTS TAKE VITAMINS, TOO
July 4, 2014
Just this morning.
bunso: Â Ow, mama. Â The ants would be extra strong na.
msbolin:  And why is that?
bunso:  They almost consumed kuya’s Scott’s Vitamin C pastilles!

FROM TOTS ON HOW TO BREAK HOUSE RULES
July 2014
“You can’t break the rules until you know how to play the game.” – Rickie Lee JonesÂ
Another small house rule:
Finish your food. Do not put too much on your plate.  It is better to go back again than overflow your plate with everything.  Because chances are,  you might have a stomach ache and puke  before your could even clear your plate.
The second son must have thought of a nice excuse for keeping his plate (and glass) full that night.   He really wanted to  have some room for dessert so he just needs to give up on something.
And he left that poor something inside our ref with a caption “please don’t drink, saving for breakfast.”
Pretty cool indeed.

what a fun idea! I wished I kept notes of the things that happen in my family, the funny ones, of course. Magandang pang Throwback Thursday. Haha
xx

Haha. Pang asar kapag gusto mong magpaiyak ng kapatid. Ihihi.
Hahaha. I find your anecdotes incredibly refreshing and funny. On this post, the one with the ants win hands down. Hahaha. Vitamins! P.S. Did you know, if you place a piece of vitamins (minerals) in your potted plants, the plants will grow better?
Haha. Learned of that idea too though I do not know where I got it from. I drop paracetamol on my flower vase. Ihihi.
Those pictures are so cute! I like that doll of you with the button eyes, even if his explanation was blunt. I don’t really understand how kids pick up fads like those bracelets so quickly. It is like Pokemon cards or friendship necklaces. They seem to spread overnight! Thanks for the funny stories!
You are welcome. Glad you’ve enjoyed reading.
Your kids are so cute!! No wonder you have such bliss in your life. That flavor of ice candy is really meant for devouring. If I were in their shoes, I’d eat it up at once! Haha!
Hahaha. Luge ang business. Hahah
Your kids are definitely funny! I hope they wont lose that wit when they grow up. A sense of humor is really an important part of growing up. Nice idea of documenting them so you can show them when they grow up. 😉
I really hope they remain humble and funny– the sense of humor still there.
Natawa ako dun sa “Ano ang hindi mo pwedeng gawin sa umaga?” hahaha. Oo nga naman, may point 🙂 Your kid is so adorable. And the puppet is very creative, hah. When I become a mother myself, I would love to have those kind of funny conversations, too.
You will surely enjoy your “conversation” with your kids. Hahah.
Hihi! Your kids are adorable and has a funny sense of humor. Stay healthy and keep it faith xo
Same to you, stay healthy and keep the faith.
Grabe nakakatuwa talaga your babies hahahaha! I love the left over and the eraser winner yun sakin hahaha! Super bright ng mga kids! They will grow up full of sense of humor 🙂
I hope so that their humor will still stay even if they are all grown up na. Thanks for appreciating. Love the eraser, too.
Your kids are such smart ass. They are so funny and smart.
I will take that as a compliment. Ihihi.
Hahaha! Winner yung message sa eraser. 🙂 And to be fair, I’ve never heard of those jokes they shared with you. Amazing what kids learn these days.
I like the eraser, too. Hahaha.
Ang lakas ng humour! 😀 You will never get bored with the ideas they ‘indireclty’ uttered. Funny collection of memories. 🙂
Thank you. And i hope they continue to fill my mornings, afternoons and evenings with more fun stories and acts.
Kids are really brutally honest! Their comments sometimes leave me speechless! But I’m happy for you that you get to document your memorable moments with them. I used to do this before through my blog. But when my 2 children got bigger and busier and I had my third baby, I hardly had time to update my blog to document our bonding moments. But I keep all them in my heart. 🙂
Keeping those memories in your heart is the best as they will never be erased by anything. They will always be there to bring you good laugh and a nice cry once in a while.
I love that eraser anecdote! It’s good what he did, label his school stuff, so they don’t get lost or if they do, they will be returned to the rightful owner.
Haha. Yes. The eraser is so love. And when i saw it, picture agad. Natawa talaga ako.
I can move on sa kuto joke. Oo nga naman. Your family is super funny! :))
They can be funnier in person. Haha. Magulo sa bahay namin sa dami ng jokes at kung anu ano pa.
omg! the dots are your pimples daw sis?! ang dami naman yata! Brutal honestly to the highest level! haha! Very honest nga pero I like that! I want for Nate to be honest to me too! haha. Grabe ang kulit nila!
Mas makulit sila sa personal. My bunso is super honest. Hahaha. And the puppet is still with me. Nakadisplay sa kwarto. Hahaha
Haha! Grabe with the iced candy, ang lakas nila a! Your bunso is so sweet to have thanked you for wrapping his books. 🙂 You’re one luck momma to have taught your kids well. 🙂
Thank you. Yes, luge sa ice candy. Hahaha
Natawa ako sa mga jokes nila! I enjoyed reading! Ang kukulit hehehe.
Mas makulit sila sa personal. Ihihi
Love the jokes! It’s great to look back on these moments especially with your kids when they’re older.
Yes, i would find myself laughing while reading these again.
I so love their jokes. And that rocking chair? Wow. I can relate to that too. All of our fave spot at home are theirs, and of course include the remote control too. Great memories from your kids. God Bless your family!
Thank you. God bless your fam too. Yes, i hardly hold the remote control. Hahha. Kids!
I really like your anecdotes from your kids. 🙂 Kids are really honest and I love that from that, funny though yung saving for breakfast na mug nya. Haha! Witty kid
Haha. Indeed a witty excuse. Haha. Natawa na naman akong mag isa. Ihihi
am really enjoying these funny anecdotes! hehe! those are way too many pimples, i am pretty sure he is exaggerating! haha! ooh, love those ice candies, i should make some soon!
Hahah. When i asked him, he was deAd serious. Hahaha.
