Four-year-old son: Â Where are the bats? Â Caves have bats.
The second son:  You cannot take pictures of bats, you might startle them and they will attack you.
No need to explain anything to Bunso when his Kuya is around.  Thank you, Lord, for Kuyas.

Second son relayed to this mama his one proud moment in school.
A canteen staff with a food cart stopped by the classroom of the afternoon grade I students. “Who wants to buy anything?” she shouted.  It was only second son who raised his hands and said, “Me!”
The canteen staff asked him what he will buy and my six-year-old boy said, “I want to buy Frutos. Â Two only.”

ANECDOTES FROM TOTS ON ON COUNTING SHEEP
15 October 2010
Second son “unburdened his heart” to me.  He cannot sleep.  I advised him to count sheep.
About three minutes later, I asked him to switch on the lampshade.  It was too dark inside the room.
He sleepily said to me, “I am at number 76. Â I am nearly finish counting sheep.”
Oops, sorry. Â Never thought he will take my advice seriously.
You can tell from these stories how much you love your sons. Little boys can be so serious about things like being a soldier! And it’s sweet that your son took the advice to count sheep. It’s nice that you have so many special moments like these with your boys.
Im blessed and happy too that i was able to spend time with them. And im looking forward to spending more time with them pa
Back again to read more about you and your boys . Your posts are always so entertaining and sweet . I might repeat myself , but think about , what brilliant memories you will have once the boys have grown up . A bit like a diary for yourself and your boys . Kids can be so funny 🙂
Yes , i agree. They can be so ow funny and sincere and honest and cute. Hahah. I said everything.
This is so cute!! At such a young age, kids really have clear visions of themselves. 😀
Yes. They can be innocent but they are always honest.
LOL! Berlin. Funny anecdotes. I remember one time when I brought my bunso to Shanghai. We lived in a Ascott Service Apartment so one day, after a meal, we were back. I was in the living room while he was in the bedroom. A while later he came out to the living room completely naked. I asked him why?
He said he just finished poopoo. My thought was, OMG, the mess… I checked his hands, they were clean.
I checked the toilet, it was clean.
I looked inside the toilet bowl, and that’s where I saw it, he managed to use up one pack of wet napkins to wipe himself.
It was the first time he did that.
At least he used napkins. Haha. Kids can be the cutest talaga.
I love reading this fun conversations you have with your boys! it is such a fun time of life and these memories will be worth so much in time. I hope they will laugh as much as we do! 🙂 Made my night!
Thank you. Its a pleasure making your night light.
Keeping these memories with your boys are treasures! Specially since they grow up so fast. I don’t have kids on my own but I feel the same way with my nephews. They grow up so fast and I miss how cute and honest they were back when they are still little cuddly kiddies. Lol
Yup, so honest and clueless most of the time. My boys now are all acting like grown up men.
So sweet how children act to advices of parents; took you very seriously with the counting of the sheep. I remember as being a child how much I hated it when I couldn’t sleep and I still have that today. It’s so much fun to keep quotes of your children. It’s worth a lot in my opinion. So much fun to tell them later on their wedding too =)
We sometimes talk about their funny anecdotes and we would always end up laughing.
your kids are just sooo cute!! innocent and smart! Thanks for sharing this. GV indeed! 🙂
Yup, good vibes lang. Ihihi
Kids are so funny. I envy you since you were able to keep a record of all these. You inspire me to start doing something with my children’s funny stories.
Kids can really be ow so funny. They can also be a pain in the neck but i would rather record the funny ones. Ehehe b
Kids have a world of their own, I can see this from your awesome posts. Why don’t you put up their pictures here, the comments would immediately connect with what you are saying about. No?
Thank You for the recommendation. Will do that on my other anecdotes posts.
Oh I’m so looking forward to see my daughter and us (parents) having that cutey time with her. Your boys are so adorable and I love that you were able to document all those quotable quotes.
You should keep recording those and share it to them when they grow up . I can just imagine how happy they would be to know you kept all these memories.
I hope they would appreciate the gesture. And yes, will take our advice. Will keep on recording those anecdotes. Thank you.
I have similar posts in my mommy blog, too. It’s always nice to go back to old funny memories, especially of our children when they were young.
Yes, makes you laugh even when alone and people would notice you laughing alone and would think youve gone crazy.
Kids say the funniest things! I also blog about the funny things my son says. When I reread them, I would still laugh and sometimes I can’t believe he really said those things!
I’m sure they would love to read this when they’re adults 🙂
Haha, they would surely deny them. Yes, read your Raviv’s smart talks. And it inspired me to dig my knick-knack box and hanapin tong mga to.
Your kids are so cute! I love how they converse with each other as if they’re adults. 😀
Exactly. Playing and thinking like adults. Thank you.
Very fun experiences! It’s great you record your boys’ anecdotes. I’m sure someday they’ll look back and have a laugh. I’ll do the same for mine someday
Yes, do as well and surely you will find yourself laughing even by yourself as you reread everything .
