The happiest hen produces the healthiest egg. She can even lay a golden yolk which is packed with added benefits compared to a regular one. This type of chicken can roam freely around a safe environment and is given the best care and comfort. Such hen also receives complete vaccination against diseases and is even subject to a medication program designed to boost her immune system.
These are the kinds of hen that Bounty Fresh has in their facilities. As the country’s top egg producer, Bounty Fresh ensures that they only deliver high-quality eggs and nothing more.
I guess egg is a regular staple in any household. One can fry, boil or scramble it and he has something to eat already. In fact, consuming eggs daily is advisable. Science clears it that eating up to three whole eggs a day is perfectly safe for healthy people.
eggs everyday for a healthy lifestyle
An egg has 187 mg of cholesterol, and the recommended limit is 300 mg per day. Likewise, an egg is a good source of inexpensive, high-quality protein. Aside from that, the egg white is rich in selenium and vitamin B6, B12, D. It is also packed with copper, iron, and zinc. If you find it difficult to memorize the importance of those nutrients and minerals, just note that Vitamin B12 and selenium are key to keeping the immune system healthy. Iron is related to the blood while zinc is for healthy skin.
Science explains that regular consumption of egg helps strengthen muscles and boost the health of the brain. An egg likewise promotes a healthy immune system. It even lowers the risk of heart disease. This is because of choline which helps in breaking down the amino acid homocysteine that is associated with the development of heart disease.
The World Egg Day celebration
These and more are what I’ve learned on the onset of the World Egg Day celebration at Eastwood Mall last Tuesday. The World Egg Day is celebrated worldwide and it is the first in the Philippines through the initiatives of Bounty Fresh. This is because Bounty Fresh would want the public to know the health benefits of consuming eggs daily and in the process debunk those myths about daily egg consumption.
Architect Edwin Chen, Managing Director of Bounty Farm, Inc. said in a statement that “the consumption of eggs is among the lowest in Asia despite their affordability. There is a misconception that eggs are bad for the health because of cholesterol. And Bounty Fresh wants to correct that wrong thinking.”
In our household, we consume eggs almost everyday. They are my boys’ favorite breakfast especially if partnered with sausages, bacon, and hotdog. This mother also uses egg to make pancakes, waffles, and bread. Our homemade cake and muffins wouldn’t be fluffier and creamier without eggs. And just the other day, I prepared a frittata for my boys and they loved the dish I would want to cook again this weekend. It’s one of the recipes I learned from Stephanie Zubiri who cooked during the Bounty Fresh World Egg celebration at Eastwood.
So who says don’t eat your eggs every day? Grab a tray, enjoy eggs daily, and load yourself with lots of protein, vitamins, and minerals to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Yup, eggs are a staple breakfast that gives a lot of nutrients! Before, I only know about the white eggs but now there are even organic eggs. I do try to consume the organic ones but it’s kinda expensive. But, I would love to learn your recipe for waffles!
Yes, we have eggs every day since it is a good source of Vitamin D. Since I work at home and rarely go out of the house, vitamin D deficiency is one of my concerns — thus, I was advised to eat eggs regularly. 🙂
Good thing! They’re making an advocacy that eating eggs daily is okay.
My day will never be complete without having at least one egg! I don’t care if it’s breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner as long as I can eat one. Haha. I love eggs so much! By the way, is it true that there really is no difference between the brown and white eggs? Except that the brown one is organic?
The egg is one of the few near complete sources of nutrition. And its about time it had a day for itself! Cant go for more than a couple of days without one! i too love them when combined with bacon and such things!
Eggs is a staple in our breakfast table. Not only breakfast but even lunch or dinner sometimes. My kids love eggs! There are free range eggs and organic nowadays which we do buy from a nearby supplier here. It is said to be more nutritious than the regular white eggs. Bounty fresh is a good one too! We usually buy their chicken and the nuggets!
My every morning starts with a sunny-side up!! Sometimes, I have boiled eggs for supper, and my whole family just love to eat eggs. If there is one thing we always have in our fridge, it’s the package of eggs. They are so healthy that I recommend them to all of my friends. So, that’s why I am not involved with any of the vitamin and protein deficiencies. 🙂
Eggs are the healthiest food that one can have… the famous old quote can be reframed: An egg a day keeps the doctor away! 🙂 Good to know about this initiative of Bounty Fresh. It is a part of our daily meal.
I love eggs! Can’t imagine breakfast without eggs! Actually, my OB recommends that I eat at least 1 egg a day to help my baby grow while pregnant. I also love how versatile eggs are. You can cook it in so many ways and even use it for drinks and desserts! I get Bounty Fresh eggs as well, the one with Omega 3 for the baby’s brain development 🙂
