The magic in baking together
Maya, the homegrown brand that pioneered the country’s baking mixes, believes there is magic in baking together as a family. The kitchen can be a place where families get to create special memories through making delicious goodies. Such fun to get both parents and their children involved in baking cakes, cupcakes, and even cookies. It is learning together that makes it extraordinary, and that is the experience Bake Magic Together would want each family to experience.
At the launch of the book Bake Magic Together, professional pastry chef, Carla Asence conducted a short baking demo with her nine-year-daughter Nicki. Popularly known as Carla Cusinera, the amiable chef encourages guests and visitors to involve their kids in baking. At the age of six years old, her daughter got interested in baking. Since then, Nicki joins her in managing their baking business.
Maya Kitchen’s Bake Magic Together
Bake Magic Together is available in all National Bookstore and Powerbooks nationwide. Once could also secure a copy online via Anvil Publishing. This book is an opportunity for parents to spend time with their kids even for a few minutes in the kitchen. Chef Carla, during the book launch, guaranteed that most recipes included only take about fifteen minutes maximum to do.
It is given. Most parents work real hard for their family. But it would be a refreshing start to make new traditions and inject a few .of our time with our loved ones. And we may start this by making magic together in the kitchen and whip new recipes. Beyond the fun, baking together would lead family members closer.
Doing anything together helps build relationships talaga. Its nice that even at a young age, kids nowadays are exposed to learning a lot of things, including baking. It enhances their talents.
I’m thankful for instant mixes because you can bake something for several minutes. Baking is a good bonding activity and it is also one of my bonding with my son. Good thing he likes to help me kahit natatagalan ko magbake. hehehe!
Ahhh! Another baking post o, sarap talaga mag bake. Love ko mag bake, pero ung baking, di yata ako love! hahaha. Jk! Wala pa kami talagang gamit for this, lalo walang oven. lol. Pero hopefully, pag may pambili na, matuto din mag bake bake. 🙂
I actually grew up (well, not grew up-grew up because I was already in high school then lol) reading Maya Kitchen recipe books, and yes, it formed one of our family’s bonding moments in the kitchen. Nostalgic!
Would love to have a copy of this cookbook because our kids have been wanting us to try baking together. Unfortunately though, we don’t currently have an oven so we can’t bake anything, which sucks. Have to save up for one!
Yay! I’m into baking lately, started just last year. I would love to have this Baking Magic Together baking cookbook. I really decided to learn how to bake because of my daughter, konting taon nalang, we will be baking together na 🙂
