MOMI LAUGHS/ Anecdotes from Tots (part 6)

May 12, 2016 | Love, Only Berlin

Never thought I’ve documented all these.  Or maybe I got three kids at the small house to make me happy.  I bet there were still so many funny moments I’ve recorded and misplaced.  Again reasons that make this momi laughs –

MOMI LAUGHS ON OBSERVANT SECOND SON

July 26, 2012

Dinner

Second son:  Mama, I am now level 4 at Top Shots (an online shooting game).

Momi:  good.

Second son:  Have you played tetris?  How about car town?  I sent you a gift.

Momi:  Ow, Second son.  I can’t play online games at the office.

Second son:  How come the other person from your office  plays chess when I went there before?

MOMI LAUGHS ON FABRIC ERASER

July 30, 2012

The boys know their mother very well.  She is such a clean freak and would always ask her kids to keep everything clean and neat.

So one Friday evening as this mother sat on the sofa, she noticed the sofa near her—

It has a pen marking on it.  And the pen marking was painstakingly rubbed off with a pencil eraser.

This mother can’t get mad.  She really appreciated the effort.

MOMI LAUGHS ON MATATALINONG STUDENTS

November 23, 2102

dinner chat with the boys

Bunso:  Mama, all the matatalinong (intelligent/ excels academically) students in our class got a wrong answer in the G clef question of teacher.

Momi:  You got it right, though, I suppose?

Bunso: No, I got it wrong. You see, as I have told you, all the matatalinong students in our class were wrong.

Momi:  Ow, I see.

MOMI LAUGHS ON TAXI FREE RIDE

December 3, 2012

Sunday evening, on our way to attend mass  (inside cab)

Bunso:  Mama, you want a free ride from this taxi?

Momi:  Sounds interesting?  How can we have a free ride?

Bunso:  It says there, “Don’t pay if meter seal is broken.”  Please look if seal is broken, mama.

MOMI LAUGHS ON VITAMINS EVERYDAY

December 21, 2012

Bunso:  Mama, may I just take one bottle of all my medicine so I will no longer take a little dose everyday?

MOMI LAUGHS ON TRUE STORY Comics

December 13, 2012

I guess my second son is keeping something from me.

By the way, he asks for a new ballpen.  He claims his ballpen isn’t writing.  Hmmm.

MOMI LAUGHS ON TRACES OF GLUE LINE

January 19, 2013

I went home from work.

And I found this – a few broken pieces of our cookie jar.  I looked closer.

Someone tried to fix the lid with obvious traces of the glue line.  It made me smile.

MOMI LAUGHS ON DO NOT DISTURB, I’M BUSY

January 2013

Today is Saturday  and everyone is busy minding his own business.

Bunso is doing a school assignment and making it a point that he puts his full concentration in whatever he is doing.  Good boy!

Second son is on an errand for his mother and is filling up water jugs.  Thank you, son.

And their mama is busy checking her email. (quick check only, guilty)

Bunso checks on his brother.

Second son says something but bunso’s abrupt reply stuns me.

“Mamaya na natin pag-usapan yan, ok? (Let us talk about that later, ok?).  I am still busy here.

Very Funny, makes me miss having young kids. The way they mean exactly like they say. opposed to reading meanings with adults is so refreshing.

Once again you have cute stories! I think it’s sweet that they tried to fix the pen stain on the couch. The same with trying to fix the cookie jar. And the story about taking the vitamins all at once instead of one day at a time is real child logic. I think I said something similar once!

that pen marking reminds me of my naughtiness when I was a kid and my mom was really mad to me LOL.. I remember vandalizing the walls of our room with crayons as if we treated walls like coloring book and you’ll see all the scribbles (or better be called as mess) everywhere haha.

These are such cute stories. I love the innocence of the pen story because it is so true that they knew they made a mistake and tried their hardest to fix it with their limited resources. That’s why all of these stories are so great because they show where they are in life! I love it!

The eraser part reminds me of my creativeness when I was a kid. I loved playing character erasers with my classmates and even tried to play in sleeping mode so I can talked and play with them during my elementary days, Crazy right? Haha. But that is one of the best part in my Elem Days

Good job on the earaser. Good thing there were no Liquid papers around haha. I really love that you were able to jot down all these stories. I’m looking forward to my daughter’s anecdotes when she grows up.
