Ever since the good heaven sent us our Yael, this mother has become extra careful with her choices of home fragrances, fabric soap, and even dishwashing liquid. As much as possible, I would like my family – our little one especially- to use products that are safe and of course effective. Products with artificial scents and harsh chemicals are a no-no.
It was on our visit to the Baby Company Grand Baby Fair last January that I learned of a natural dish soap designed to be tough on germs but gentle on skin . Initially, I was hesitant to get as I have come to love our brand. But upon learning that this dish soap is gentle enough for use on a baby’s bottle and utensil, I told myself to give it to try. I brought home three bottles, each with distinct scents.
Oh, by the way, the product I’ve been telling you all along is CUSINA Natural Antibacterial Dishwashing Liquid.
Let me share with you TWO reasons that since that baby fair event, I’ve come to love and still use Cusina.
1. Cusina contains tea tree and eucalyptus essential oils
These two have innate antimicrobial and antiseptic properties. This then makes Casino use the power of nature instead of harmful chemicals to fight bacteria. Also, it does not rely on synthetic chemicals like triclosan. Triclosan is an antibacterial and antifungal agent usually found in many consumer products like detergents, soaps, and even toothpaste.
2. Cusina uses real fruits and plants for that distinct scent
Cusina’s refreshing scents use real fruits and plants sourced from Spain, where a lot of the world’s fruit-extracted fragrances are made. Through close collaboration with leading Spanish perfumers, Cusina’s three signature variants were carefully crafted.
As for the three signature variants:
GRAPEFRUIT LEMON ZEST
The Grapefruit Lemon Zest can brighten any day with its uplifting fresh pink grapefruit and clean, crisp lemon zest scents.
LEMONGRASS CITRUS
The Lemongrass Citrus has a stimulating citrus and an energizing minty lemongrass smell. This is our favorite Cusina variant.
GINGER YUZU PEEL
Ginger Yuzu Peel, as the name suggests, is a combination of ginger and yuzu. These two, when paired together produce a delicate scent that promotes feelings of peace and tranquility. Its scent is slightly sweet and citrusy.
Being a loyal Cusina user, it’s such a delight to receive a gift from our favorite brand. My son attended the Brotzeit Junior Chef @ Work last Wednesday and while the kids got to receive their Toy Kingdom packages and certificates, the mommies were given a gift set of Cusina’s three signature variants.
You could then imagine the wide grin on my face when I got mine. I fell in love with Cusina Dishwashing Liquid on my first try. It has passed my strict standards because of its cleaning ability — wonderfully concentrated, naturally Cusina.
Give it a try. It will pamper you nose with real fruit and plant extracts that smell like the garden, not the lab.
Intriguing enough to give it a try. Excited to check the price. Thank you for sharing, MomiBerlin.
Thanks, Richelle. A bottle is less than a hundred ata.
I am always on the lookout for natural products that work well! I think sometimes they are natural but I always end up switching back because I don’t like them as much as my old brand. That is great that you got the samples of the same products. I like that it uses essential oils!
Yes, beauty and cleaning products that use natural extracts and the likes are ideal especially for kids. How i wish most companies would switch to all natural for the consumers’ as well as the environment’s sake.
I love natural products! It’s better for human and environment. Cleaning and hygiene is so important in my opinion. Especially for parents with children. Great advices about how to keep everything clean using natural products!
Thanks for agreeing. Hooray to natural products! Ihihi
This brand sounds great! I am a bit worried that I will not be able to find them in the USA. But I love natural products and I love things that smell great. I think the ginger yuzu sounds really appealing to me.
Love the ginger yuzu as well. Hope you can find a similar brand if not this perse.
Is it now available in grocery stores? I would like to try Cusina too, I find my current brand a bit too harsh on my hands, making them feel coarse and dry.
We do our grocery at s&r and still no stock there. But we get from baby company. I hope they are available in leading groceries, too.
I can now imagine the tasty scent of this diswashing soap! I’m excited to give it a try. Is the soap concentrated like Joy, etc?
It is concentrated. And its so mabula. Ihihi. Plus again the good thing is they use all natural ingredients.
I will try and find it sa grocery kasi my kids have their home economics na din. Kaya dapat kid friendly yung panghugas na sabon.
Unfortunately, none pa sa grocery but sana soon no. We got ours sa baby company.
I like that this product is all natural. Are these available in supermarkets? I don’t think I’ve seen one. I want to give this a try.
Unfortunately, not available in local supermarkets. Only select places, but hopefully they would consider supermarkets and groceries.
I have one bottle that I got from Mommy mundo expo but up to now i am not yet using it. Thanks for the review and will try it now this week
Try it, you might also appreciate its smell and effect on your hands. Plus of course, using all natural ingredients dishwashing liquid thats safe even for baby’s utensils and feeding bottles.
Bet na bet ko and box nila at ang ganda ng packaging! 😀 Nasanay kami sa Joy kasi yun ang mabilis bilhin sa market, pero sana ma try ko to pag nakita ko. hehe.
Oo sana nga maging available sila sa local groceries and supermarkets.
I love that it’s all natural and genyle on the hands. The pretty bottles is such a plus too. I hope they come up with refill packs in the future.
The refill pack is a real nice suggestion.
I’ve heard a lot of awesome things about this brand. Now that we’re running out of dishwashing liquid, I’m seriously considering switching to Cusina!
Haha. Try it and you might like it as well.
The packaging is really nice, so colorful! I hope this product becomes available in the local grocery stores so that I can try it, too.
Yes, i hope they consider supermarkets. I bet their sales would grow too.
I like dishwashing liquids that has a very fruity smell. Additional is if its gentle on the hands.
You will surely love Cusina given your requirements. :).
I haven’t seen this in the supermarkets in our area, how much is the cost per bottle?
The 375ml is about P80.00 if not mistaken. They are available in weekend markets and Babyland. We got ours at Baby Company before.
I want to try Cusina too. Where can I buy one?
usually at weekend markets and Babyland, they have. We got ours at Baby Company before.
This is the first time I read about his brand. I wonder if it is available in local grocers and if they are priced reasonably.
If not mistaken, they launched the product last January. Its pretty new and unfortunately, they havent “invaded” the local stores yet. Hopefully soon. They come at reasonable prices. The 375ml is about P80.00
Joy gamit namin but I would love to try this, safer and chemical free. Thanks for sharing!
Switch na. Hahaha. But honestly, you will really appreciate Cusina. Gentle pa sa hands.
I love Cusina! I love the scents and it’s great that it’s eco friendly. I hop they make it more widely available.
I hope so, too. Sayang if select places lang distribute them.
Saw this at the weekend market near our place. Will try this soon. I also like the bottles- cute!
Yes, it is something refreshing to look at. The smell, too, isnt that harsh.
I have some sample bottles on hand, need to try them out na!
Try na. IHihi. Surely you will love them.
Bottles pa lang, nakakatuwa na. I really want to try this!
Colorful, no? I read from a mom that his husband thought they are some drinks. ehehe.
