And We’re Here for It
As a mom of five curious boys and an author who believes in the power of stories to shape lives, I always look forward to anything that brings books closer to people. So when I heard that the Big Bad Wolf is back in Metro Manila, I knew we had to make time for a quick visit.

We dropped by V-Mall in Greenhills where the massive sale is happening from May 23 to June 2. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by tables of books covering every genre you could think of. Fiction. Nonfiction. Self-help. Young adult. Thrillers. Romance. Business. Cookbooks. Graphic novels. You name it.
a treasure trove of activities for kids
But what truly made me smile was seeing how excited my boys were. This wasn’t just for book lovers. The sale is also a treasure trove of activities for kids. We saw plenty of storybooks, coloring books, paint-by-numbers, and educational worksheets that keep them engaged during weekends or school breaks. Seeing them flipping through pages and choosing books that spoke to their interests was heartwarming.

We went home with a handful of titles, all on sale. It felt like we had struck gold. Some were as low as sixty pesos. We picked up stories we’ve meant to read and others we discovered for the first time.
The Big Bad Wolf Visit is Worthwhile

The Big Bad Wolf made book hunting a joyful experience once more. If you’re building your family library or simply seeking meaningful ways to spend time with your kids, this visit is worthwhile. We’re excited to dive into our new reads and lose ourselves in stories again. Books bring so much life into a home; this trip reminded me of that all over again.
