When I was pregnant with our Little Man, I love Red Velvet crinkles so much. My husband would always buy me a pack from his officemate. I could finish a pack and would even request a some more. That perhaps is the reason that our now two-year-old boy has that same complexion like that of the cream cheese filling. His cheeks are also rosy like that of the crinkles’ red hue.
Husband’s frequent pasalubong of Red Velvet crinkles made the boys to love this new variant of chewy baked cookie. Then soon, they appreciate Red Velvet and all its form – cupcakes and cakes. It wouldn’t come as a surprise. Its eye-catching red hue and subtle taste of cocoa in contrast to a generous accompaniment of cream cheese frosting are just enough reasons.
Red Velvet though is one cake flavor I haven’t tried to bake at home. Perhaps because I still prefer those store-bought goodies for fear I might fail. But lo and behold! Maya might have heard my boys and other kids’ cry. It finally added the MAYA Decadence Red Velvet Premium Mix to its line of high-quality mixes just in time for the holidays.
Now, there’s no limit to the kinds of treats I can whip up. I am confident that I can turn any Maya Decadence Premium Mixes into extraordinary cakes and pastries – something my kids and my husband would always find amazing. We have already tried Maya’s Yellow Cake Mix and love its dense and moist texture. My boys, especially the Little Man, love the melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake from the Devil’s Food Cake Mix. We’ve whipped a number of cakes and brownies using the Fudge Brownie Mix. Indeed, the Maya Decadence products are great for any occasion and can make even a simple meal special.
With the new MAYA Decadence Red Velvet Premium Mix, I can whip a few cupcakes and a batch of cookies. A Red Velvet Strawberry Sandwich is another unique take on a classic cake which I can whip this coming holiday season. Surely, the cream cheese filling in between the two soft red velvet sponge cakes will be a hit among my boys. And while checking on what else one can do with the new MAYA Decadence Red Velvet Premium Mix, I’ve learned Red Scarlet Cake Pops would surely be a bestseller at home. This cake pop is covered in chocolate or topped with red velvet crumbs.
Looking for recipes isn’t that hard. MAYA has a dozen and more recipes for its newest addition to the MAYA Decadence Premium Mixes. To name a few, there’s the Red Velvet Cookie Chocolate Bars and the Red Velvet Cookie Chocolate Layered Cake. Another option is the Red Velvet Swirl Cheese Cake.
I could mention more baked goodies one could whip using the MAYA Red Velvet Mix, but I suggest you get your hands on this new mix and start creating your own red velvet treats. These goodies are just perfect for any upcoming holiday party or something the family can enjoy and simply indulge in at home. For the recipes, you can take inspiration from The Maya Kitchen.

Red velveeeeet!!! I’m so happy there’s a red velvet mix na–I love the taste of red velvet cakes yet find them tedious to do. Heading to the Maya Kitchen website now–I would love to have those red velvet cakepops!
Love to try the cakepops too. Seems easy to eat and easy to disappear, too. Ihihihi.
I’m not a fan of red velvet cakes, cupcakes or cookies. But I tried to bake Red Velvet CUpcake at home and check kung mas masarap ba pag homemade kaso di pa rin namin type.hehehe! Maya has so many instant mixes na, they even have wheat sa pancake.
Yes, love their wheat variant.
This is the first time that I see a red velvet mix! I used to search for recipes online and follow it from scratch. It was challenging because there are so many ingredients that you need to measure and that can get messy. I love red velvet cake and cupcakes! Haven’t tried it for cookies yet but this is so so interesting! Can’t wait to have mine and try it!
Same here. We tried to do a red velvet cake and even used food coloring. Even the measurement should be exact otherwise, the food will be a failure. Such great idea for Maya to finally include Red Velvet in their line of mixes.
I am not a fan of red velvet but I’d love to bake a red velvet cupcake soon. I have lots of friends who love red velvet cupcakes and crinkles. Sana successful para i-add sa #EnerosKitchen. Might try this red velvet mix muna 🙂
Yes, try the red velvet mix muna and you might be happy with the result. Will look forward to your red velvet goodies. By the way, saw your banana choco chip loaf. Order ako, please include walnuts. ihihihi.
I love red velvet, too! My son isn’t too fond of chocolate but he loves red velvet — in fact his most recent birthday cake was red velvet inside. Glad to know Maya has a mix now!
So cute of your son to love Red Velvet. Most of the kids I know love chocolate more than anything.
Oh wow! I’m literally drooling right now – just woke up so I haven’t eaten yet. Tapos this is what I would see in your post? Why u do dis to meee? haha! Nagutom ako lalo, I should finish this up asap so I can eat already, lol! See you soon! ♥
See you on Friday. Excited na sa Christmas party natin. Vanilla Cupcake has red velvet cupcakes and they are real good. Fave ni Gab orderin yun dun.
My two daughters love red velvet too. They also love to bake so I’m sure we’re going to have fun baking with this, if only we had an oven!
I love red velvet cakes! I think there’s some elegance to them, maybe it’s the color. It’s so festive! Though I haven’t tried red velvet crinkles. Love Maya!
