We ate in a place called Vanilla Cupcake Bakery. Its charming facade enticed this mom to go inside and check on the food. The interiors all the more pushed me to choose a spot among the many empty chairs and ask for the menu. We spent about an hour and a half eating, exchanging a few jokes, and picture taking. The place is just too pretty not to be captured on my camera phone.

Vanilla Cupcake Food
My two boys ordered SPAM EAT & MR. RIGHT (PhP 198 each). I thought it would be just the ordinary spam with rice and egg but Vanilla Cupcake Bakery served it with some pesto over the sliced tomatoes. The kids loved the dish so much that even the tomatoes weren’t spared.

My eldest had VCB SPECIAL TAPA (PhP 258) and it was one of the yummiest and most tender tapas I’ve ever tasted. My boy even asked for an extra rice.

Of course, our little man also had his own plate. We got him a bowl MY MR. MUSHROOM (PhP 168) and mashed some rice in it. Just like his big brothers, he was able to finish his bowl.

This mom saw some HONEY GLAZED TUYO (PhP 228) on the menu and asked for it. It was somehow spicy but still heavenly.

Vanilla Cupcake memories
I would have ordered some cupcakes for dessert but the boys were full already they begged not to bother. We went back to our hotel room full and happy. We chance upon this quaint diner while walking along Mother Ignacia looking for a decent place to have lunch. The boys and I were checked-in at La Breza Hotel for an overnight stay, a gift to the boys before classes resume. I promised myself to bring my mom to the Vanilla Cupcake Bakery and have some mother-daughter bonding over tea and cupcakes. She will surely love the place.

I love vanilla cupcake bakery! Their place is just so quaint and pretty – it makes you want to eat everything in sight. Hahaha. I’ve never tried their food though, I always just get a cupcake and coffee. It’s nice to know that they serve comfort food. Something to try the next time I visit. 🙂

I like Vanilla Cupcake Bakery for hanging out with my girl friends as we feel young with its doll-house like interiors. And since I adore the place too much, I asked Lloyd to accompany me. We had their Deluxe-All Day Tea Set which you may want to try with your mom. It has the following:
-2 Pomodoro Bruschetta and 2 Chorizo Mushroom Canapes
– A spread of finger sandwiches featuring Chicken Pesto, Cheese Pimiento, E-L-C (Egg, Lettuce, Cucumber)
– 2 Mini Muffins with Vanilla Cream, 2 Mini Cupcakes, 2 Mini Cookies
– 1 Mini Mango Panna Cotta and Mini Banoffee

Yes, their menu has some fun names. Surely the owner is one happy person that even the names of the food are real fun and lively.
We love the cupcake of Vanilla Cupcake Bakery but I haven’t tried the meals yet. I’m not sure kung meron sa ATC branch, medyo matagal na rin yung last visit namin and more on take-out kami. I love the interiors too. 🙂

They have a branch near our place here in daang hari Molino and I agree the store interior is picturesque. I love their carrot cake but their price I think is quite expensive.
