As husband would put it, as the world leaders converge by the bay, the most charming individuals unite by manicured landscapes of UP Sunken Garden to unwind from the day’s hustle and bustle. And from the laughter of the boys, this mother is positive that her loved ones are not only enjoying the picturesque landscape but are also taking pleasure in the company of one another.
She is also happy that she is able to walk, sit, and breathe outside their small abode, and fill herself with the abundance of energy nature has to offer.
It’s crazy that after that short nature getaway, the boys are eager to help at home and even spare time to look after their baby brother. Truly, finding time for the kids make them feel more appreciated and cared for thus they are more than willing to pay forward the love.
Sometimes, getting some fresh air is all we need to recharge and bring everything into perspective.
Thank you APEC meeting for this opportunity.
How I wish we have APEC holiday too but we’re resided outside NCR so my son has classes. I like your pedestrian picture. You’re lucky na game ang mga kids mo sa picture. 🙂
haha. Thank you. They are always game kapag nature trip. Its not very often that we go out kasi.
Seen the 2016 calendar and sad to say, halos lahat ng holidays puro Saturday or SUnday. 🙁
Nice family bonding time! Kaka miss talaga ang UP Diliman campus! Love the greens, the shades… I wish I lived nearby! 🙂
Yes, Sarap mag jog sa UP, no? Then tuloy sa maginhawa street to eat. Ahihihi.
I love this place. I remember getting lost many times when I was studying at UP. Hahaha. It’s nice to know your family enjoyed your bonding at UP Sunken Garden.
Haha. Me, too. Got lost a number of times. Ihihi
Tama!!!!!!!! U.P is one of my fave place to exercise and jog with my husband noon na di pa kami kinasal. Gusto namin bumalik don with our son na. Nakaka excite.
Surely great memories you have there.
Love this article! Hope we can preserve more places na tulad nito.
Thank you. Yes, I hope so too.
I love how parents see things differently…I mean while some complain of the traffic that APEC brought, others consider this an opportunity, like an opportunity for family bonding 🙂 good for you and looks like everyone enjoyed it.
yes, the boys enjoyed it the most. Thank you for dropping by. 🙂
I’ve been meaning to go to UP early morning.I thinkit would be really nicr to go there and huat walk. It’s been awhile since we did that.
yes, sometimes we need a little fresh air and some walking. Go go go!
I’ve been planning to bring the family to UP as well. Hope to get to do it soon!
Your family will surely appreciate UP as much as my boys appreciated it.
We have an Abbey Road concept photo as a family as well.:) Naka stroller din kami heehee.
Hihihi. The Beatles fan here. 🙂
How I wish my son can experience that kind scenery, since he is always in the house and mall.He can enjoy park and green fields if he is in the farm or out of town. Nice family pic 🙂
Thanks. I hope to visit more parks than malls especially that we have a baby. The boys could also ran and just play sa field.
