I know very little about SEO or Search Engine Optimization. But what I know is that we usually type keywords within the search engine like Google to find answers to certain questions. With the uncountable websites available, search engines recommend to us the highest quality sites.
Honestly, I wasn’t aware head lice can be a pressing problem. I’ve got a few bottles of head lice treatment shampoo and I have no use for them as of the moment. I thought of giving them away but I was not too comfortable with the idea. And so I just tried to announce it on my Facebook page and to my shock, a lot of moms have such great concern about head lice.
I am a breastfeeding mom. I have come to know that breastfeeding is a supply and demand system. The bigger the demand of the child for milk, the more supply the mother’s body produces. It helps, too, that I am a stay-at-home mom, thus, our frequent skin-to-skin contact helps in my milk production. We also do unlilatch at night wherein I would sleep and so does he while his mouth is fastened to my nipple.
Any help to increase my breastmilk supply, though, is always welcome. I try lactating cookies, malunggay supplement, and even drinks that promise the increase of breastmilk supply. And one drink I tried is M2 Tea Drink. But more than the increase in breastmilk quantity, this tea drink helps cure my Firstborn’s many years old wound.
Let me share with you the good news.
I just had my hair cut. The next morning, the beautifully blow-dried hair was gone. My hair is so messy that even if I comb it, it wouldn’t be tamed. I can’t afford a regular visit to the salon just to have my hair styled exactly the way I want it to be.
That perhaps is the reason that a hair conditioner is invented. This hair care product improves the appearance, manageability, and even feel of the hair. It reduces friction between strands to allow easy brushing. Other hair conditioner products are for hair fall control, less dryness, shinier appearance, and color protection among others.
There are times our Little Man just don’t want to eat anything. But he would easily be attracted to whip cream, fruit toppings, and marshmallows. So we top his rice with those kinds. We also serve him smoothies and pancakes topped with fruit jellies, chocolate syrup, and colorful sprinkles.
Thus, we always make sure to keep our pantry stocked with pancake mix. Having them would allow us to make fast and flavorful waffles, cupcakes, and pancakes. Good thing as well that The Maya Kitchen has always been there to provide workshop and recipes.
Allow me to share with you something about me. I do not like Japanese food before. The first time I tried sushi, I was pregnant with my Firstborn and I got an upset stomach that day. A few years ago, I was reintroduced to Japanese food and I like it since then. Now, my favorites are maki and ramen.
The other night, husband went home rather early from a meeting. He brought home sandwiches for the family to try. He mentioned these are new offerings from FamilyMart. Our favorite convenience store is bringing more of our favorites from Japan much closer to us as it puts a new twist on filling sandwiches we can grab any time of the day.
I remember that as a kid, my favorite meal is spaghetti. It is still my favorite now that I am a mom of five boys. I often cook spaghetti for my family and it has become a staple pasta dish in our household. In every special occasion, we always have spaghetti. Sometimes when we are out, we crave for it and the closest version of home is the new and improved McSpaghetti. Now, it is made meatier and cheesier, just how kids and kids-at-heart like their spaghetti to be!
Our SumoSam is now nine months old. Yes, time flies real fast and sometimes, I remain in awe seeing how our little one progresses. He was able to hold his head in his first few months. He first rolled over in less than three months old and stood up before turning six months. He loves sitting down next to his parents and brothers as he grabs a few Puff cereal. He crawls fast and walks with a guide. He dances when he hears some music and never leaves anyone without flashing a smile. Our pediatrician commended him for showing advancement in terms of his motor skills.
This left me thinking; perhaps our choices for our youngsters truly affect their progress. Let me elaborate.
Knowing is half the battle.
I always love it when I learn something new every day. Or at least I am reminded of things I should opt to know.
Today is not only my Firstborn’s 16th birthday. This mother learned one valuable lesson worth the time spent away from her son’s breakfast celebration. Together with a select few media friends and influencers, I got to understand what DNA is and how to take charge of my family’s health.
I have the power.
I am a homemaker for three years now. I do some freelance work, not enough to provide all my boys’ needs but at least help with some of our expenses. Given that, I seldom give my husband a gift. I hope he understands.
But if there’s one occasion I will never let pass without something for him, it is Father’s Day. It is to thank him for the five boys. Without him, I will never have five children who bring so much joy to our small house. We may have a messy abode. We may most of the time struggle with finances. But my boys are the ones who make my life so insanely happy and crazy. And every Father’s Day, I will always thank my husband for helping me raise our children.
