“And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
– Mathew 23:12
He cannot say sorry personally. But he made it a point to get the message across by writing his thoughts on a paper. He was not aware though that I have forgiven him before his message reached me.
We are very much alike. We oftentimes conceal our emotions and prefer to speak through our pens. We are very much alike. Perhaps, because he is my son and I am his mother.
I love you, son. And yes, you are always forgiven.
What a sweet gesture…
yes. very sweet. thank you.
Hay. I recently found a note on my work table from my 4-year old where she wrote, “I’m sorry Mommy!” That was after I scolded her for bugging me while I was working on a project. I felt really bad after.
aw. so sweet of her. yes, sometimes I feel guilty too when I scold my Big Bunso and he would approach and hug me then say Im sorry.
that was so sweet…
Indeed. I kept the note and its inside my drawer to remind myself — be humble and say sorry too if needed.
Ohh.. That was really sweet..
Yes. And I’m so grateful sa action Nya. 🙂
Awww that was touching! I do believe kids have big hearts, more than what we give them credit for!
Very touching indeed. They just cant express it somehow especially if teens na sila.
I used to be like your son, writing on paper. But later on, I needed to say the words too. Yes, humility is a great quality to have.
My son and I are almost the same. I, too, prefer to write than say those words. But you’re right, humility is better practiced if we opt to face the person than write to him.
Awww… such a sweetie! That’s very touching!
yes, really touched by his gesture. 🙂
so sweet! Nakatouch naman yan 🙂
oo nga e. after that incident, o vow to myself to understand him more. thank you.
Awww ang sweet!
🙂 very. and I am one proud mama here.
My son is so expressive even when he is saying sorry, hope it will be forever 🙂
Yes, hope he will never be ashamed and afraid to express his feelings. Hello there to the young man. You’re making your mama proud. 🙂
