How Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil Turned Small Kitchen Choices Into ₱1.2M of Hope

What began as a simple campaign grew into a nationwide act of compassion. Inspired by the loyalty and generosity of Filipino consumers, the Share the Love with Heart Mate initiative surpassed its initial ₱1 million goal, raising a total of ₱1,227,450 for the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation, Inc.
The official donation turnover was held on November 27, 2025, at Robinsons Supermarket Ermita in partnership with Robinsons Supermarket. The moment marked more than just a milestone for the brand. It reflected how everyday kitchen decisions can create a meaningful impact when shared with purpose.
The campaign ran from July 15 to October 15, 2025. For every Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil product purchased at Robinsons Supermarket during the period, ₱5 was donated to PGHMFI. Each bottle bought became a small but powerful contribution toward strengthening medical programs and services for PGH patients.

The donation is already being used to support essential medical programs and services for PGH patients, particularly those in urgent and vulnerable situations.
“Maraming, maraming, maraming salamat po for the donation,” said PGHMFI Chairman and President Dr. Telesforo E. Gana Jr. “We help indigent patients directly through medical assistance — assisting them with laboratory tests that need to be done outside — and by providing equipment and supplies that are beyond our budget. All of these donations go to the different aspects of our work, whether it’s direct patient assistance or supplying the instruments and equipment that may be needed.”
Philippine General Hospital Director Dr. Gap Legaspi also shared his appreciation. “Thank you very much for this. I think this will be a big help in bridging that [critical] period when patients urgently need access to goods or medicines.”
