A Joyful Celebration of Inclusion

It was a meaningful weekend for many Filipino families, including working moms and dads, as TP in the Philippines joined thousands at the 2025 Love Laban Festival. Over 250 TP employees, led by Chief People Officer Jeffrey Johnson, joined the Pride March held at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. More than just a parade, the event celebrated safe spaces, love, and respect for all.

TP, a global name in digital business services, went beyond colorful flags and slogans. They brought activities and spaces that reminded everyone of the importance of feeling seen, supported, and valued.

TP’s Presence at Love Laban 2025

The Love Laban Festival, a collaboration between the Quezon City local government and Pride PH, drew 250,000 attendees this year. It has become one of the most anticipated Pride events in the country.

TP employees marched alongside community members, waving streamers and raising flags as a sign of solidarity. Their presence, filled with energy and unity, echoed a more profound message: everyone deserves to belong.

At the University of the Philippines campus, TP set up a booth offering a cool place to rest, a water refilling station, and fun features such as face painting, a photo booth, and a Spin the Wheel game. Families and festival-goers stopped by not only for a breather but also for moments of laughter and connection.

“Support for the LGBTQ+ community at TP does not stop at policy. It is reflected in how we train our people, build our teams, and hold ourselves accountable to creating work environments that reflect fairness and respect. I am proud of the people who participated in the festival, representing the workplace we continue to shape together,” said Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer of TP in the Philippines.

Pride in Every Region

TP’s commitment to inclusivity extended beyond Metro Manila. Teams from Cebu, Davao, Baguio, Bacolod, and Cagayan de Oro joined their respective city Pride marches, with 455 TP employees participating nationwide.

In Cebu and Bacolod, employees also laced up their running shoes for the TP Pride Fun Runs. These simple yet impactful events allowed employees to bond, show support, and stand proud together. It was a reminder that workplace culture can be warm, welcoming, and deeply human, no matter where you are.

“We’re happy to celebrate Pride with everybody as TP believes that every individual deserves respect and equality,” said Neil Norman Littaua, Human Resources Director of TP in the Philippines.

Listening and Learning Through Queertuhan

In addition to festive celebrations, TP continues to encourage meaningful conversations through “Queertuhan”—a dialogue series that centers queer voices within the organization. These sessions give space for sharing experiences, fostering empathy, and reflecting on what it truly means to belong.

“At TP, our inclusion and diversity programs start from the ground up. We focus on ensuring everyone feels welcome [in the organization],” Johnson added.

Why This Matters for Moms and Families

As parents, we want our children to grow up in a world where they are accepted for who they are, where kindness is taught at home and practiced everywhere, including the workplace. TP’s efforts are an example of how businesses can shape values that go beyond profits and productivity.

It is heartwarming to see a company not just talk about diversity, but truly live it out through real actions that honor every person’s identity and story.

Whether through a fun run, a photo booth, or an honest conversation, TP shows us that every step toward inclusion is toward a better, kinder world for our children.
