I looked at myself in the mirror.  I wasn’t pleased with what I saw.  The reflection I recognized looked old and tired.  Perhaps more than a good night’s sleep, I need a skincare product that would address some of my skin-aging problems.

Yes, I’ve aged a lot.  Though age brings wisdom and grace, along with it comes different skin-aging problems, too.  And that is what I am most concern now.

Thankfully, I got an invitation to preview Celeteque’s new line of skincare products.  And I am excited to try them and see the difference it will give.  It promises a precise solution to target the unique symptoms of skin aging.

I’ve got wrinkles. 

Though they aren’t too distracting, I know I should do something about them.  The Anti-Wrinkle Collagen Gel (P779, 50ml) of Celeteque promises to make my skin soft and supple.  This is because of Soya Bean Protein found in each jar.  It also has Hydrolyzed Collagen that aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  This cream can be used day and night and within the first two weeks of use, fine lines and wrinkles will be minimized by up to 68%.

I have large pores.

And I hate my large pores. I could see them and powder just can’t conceal them completely.  I’ve learned from yesterday’s launch that the skin loses its elasticity as one ages.  This results in pores to become more visible, making the skin appear older.  This makes me excited to try the Advanced Anti-Aging Tightening Pore Serum (P849, 30ml).  This serum is a great pre-makeup or night serum.  It promises to improve the skin’s firmness and elasticity because of its Niacinamide component.  It also has the power to reduce oiliness due to its Alpha-lipoic acid. Plus the Salicylic Acid ingredient will remove the dead skin cells that clog and stretch pores further.   My heart jumped for joy when I heard a younger-looking, visibly refined pores is possible when I use this serum daily.  The immediate effect is noticeable after seven days.

I am sleep deprived.

I’ve got undereye wrinkles.

The new Line Reducing Eye Mask (P105) may be the perfect night mask I’ve been wishing for so long.  It can reduce fine lines up to 89% in four weeks as it contains Niacinamide, D-Panthenol, and Tocopherol Acetate.  The first is for tightening the skin, the second is to rehydrate sensitive skin around the eyes, while the last one is to protect the skin against oxidation that causes wrinkles.

I have tired-looking skin.

Of all the products presented to us, I am most interested to try the Rejuvenating Facial Mask (P165).  I once used a facial mask and I like the effect it gives my skin.  Sadly, I wasn’t able to replenish anymore thus I stopped using it.   The Rejuvenating Facial Mask can be a nightly treat for women reducing wrinkles up to 84% with continued use in four weeks.  It contains Bio-Peptides which is composed of amino acids, peptides, and vitamins to rejuvenate and bring back the skin’s glow.  It also has Sodium Hyaluronate which is a tried and tested moisturizing agent for the skin.

Well, I do not aim to look ageless.  I love my white hair as it shows my real age.  But when I saw my reflection in the mirror, I felt sad.  More than the visible white strands of hair, my skin isn’t pleasing to look at.  It has wrinkles and large pores.  It looks dry and tired.  And I need to take action.  Not to look ageless but to look pleasing.  And if there is a brand that would make me appear not to look too old, then I am the happiest.  Because I have realized that I owe it to myself.  After all, it is when I feel the most beautiful that I am also at my happiest and can give more care, happiness, and love to people around me.
