For my mom, visiting old-fashioned houses in town was a trip down memory lane. So about a month ago, we took a walk to refresh our minds of the pleasures of the past as we dined in at Jolina Magdangal’s Memory Lane in Tagaytay. I knew from the start my mother would love the place. She loves anything quaint and private, rustic yet dainty. And she also has a CD copy of the famous singer’s hit album, On Memory Lane.
I did not expect the boys to feel the same way but lo and behold, they did enjoy our stay. And it was because of the food.
Memory Lane is a restaurant with a cutesy country home ambiance. Inside, one could feel the 50’s and 60’s vibe as family photos, old movie posters, and vintage items are prominently displayed everywhere.
