More and more are becoming aware of the health value of what they consume. More than a fad, it looks like health consciousness is here to stay. And it is something this momi supports as well.
All my four boys take vitamins regularly. As a mother, I always see to it to religiously allot budget for vitamin and food supplement as well as pediatrician visits and emergency funding for hospitalization and medicine expenses. These take 15% off my husband’s monthly pay.
And because we are blessed with four kids, sometimes the15% budget for our monthly medical needs is not enough. The kuyas would sometimes skip vaccine schedules but never their food supplements.
Though nothing will take the place of eating a good and healthy meal, I believe taking food supplement and vitamins can even help my kids maintain a better level of health. There are times as well that they stay late at night, eat junk food and even skip meals so all the more that they need food supplement and vitamins to fill in the nutritional gap.
Now, imagine this momi’s wide smile when she received a few bottles of Nutri10 Plus Syrup from Wert Philippines, Inc. She computed right away and smiled even more when she learned that she need not buy their usual food supplement for a month. And it is great savings for her. Thank you!
My boys and I love jigsaw puzzles. Solving one is something we enjoy doing at home. In fact, this mother set up our 1000 pieces Starry Night jigsaw puzzle near the dining table so anyone who would pass by the place may take a seat and solve a few pieces. And oftentimes, when someone sees someone solving the puzzle, he would sit beside him until everyone in our family gathers and helps one another.
Going back to one’s first love is not that hard especially if everything seems so smooth and leading to that way.
The Philippine’s Queen of Comedy Ai-Ai Delas Alas said during the recently concluded press conference of the “Ai Meets Lani: Lani May Ai?” that it is always a joy for her to go back to what she considers her first love – doing concerts – even if she has gained stable supporters as a prominent actress in the entertainment industry. She is set to perform live with none other than the Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha. The duo’s concert is set on September 17, 2016 at the Kia Theater.
I have been to a place called Hainanese Delights. And surely just like me, you will be delighted by the dishes served hot in front of you. Everything is just so colorful and Instagramable. Waiting time for food to be served is maximum of 15 minutes. Plus the meals are so affordable. Each are served portion size equivalent to two to three normal servings. You can share with friends or family and still be full and satisfied. That’s how delightful the place is.
ODD: (adjective) strange or unusual / different from what is normal or expected
I have been to a place which is quite different from the usual cafes around. I meet the owner and surprisingly, he is not the eccentric type I am expecting. He, on the contrary, speaks engagingly and loves food.
Thus, most of the dishes they serve at Odds Cafe and Nail Spa are exquisitely mouthwatering. Mr. Art Sebastian, the owner, carefully decided on the menu and tried each of them first before coming up with the final list. Anything just plain satisfactory to his taste was put to waste.
That is how hands-on Mr. Art is with his business.
A collection of flower-related stories through the years.

One Sunday morning, Bunso went outside for a walk. He returned after a few minutes, Bunso with a small yet super bright yellow flower on his hands.
Bunso: This is for you, mama.
Momi Berlin: Oh, thank you, my Bunso. Why give me flowers?
Bunso: Because I love you.
Do you stop walking, stand up straight and do the hand-over-heart gesture during the singing of the national anthem?
I did. and I felt awkward seeing people walk pass me as i stood there, my right palm over my heart while singing “Lupang Hinirang.”
It was one Monday morning when the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) had its flag ceremony. I was running late for work, and our office location is just a few buildings away from where I stood.
One Thursday morning, I had the chance to interview three parents- a Turkish father, a Chinese physician, and an Italian housewife. Their children attend school at Fountain International School (FIS), a private, non-sectarian, co-educational institution catering k-12 education (pre-school, elementary and high school).
Though there were times I just nod during our conversation because I can’t comprehend what they were trying to say, I believe that my heart understood them completely. All three are, after all, just like me- a parent.
