After giving birth four months ago, I visited my OB Gynecologist. It was more of a request from my doctor to make sure that my C-section is healing properly. Aside from checking my physical recovery from the pregnancy and delivery, she perhaps would want to check how I am doing emotionally and address my needs going forward.
Why I need milk
One of the things she mentioned me to do is drink my milk. And her explanation encompasses everything. Milk does well on the body. For one, milk is a great source of calcium which is needed to keep the bones strong, reducing the risk of developing osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a bone loss which often happens in middle and old age. This is because women and the elderly are more prone to critical bone degradation.
No other milk, though, understands us better. Women like us are always on the go. We always seek to strike a balance between work and personal time to be able to enjoy life to the fullest. It is for this reason that we need to stay fit, look and feel good whenever we can. We simply have unique needs only women like us truly understand. And it is good that there is Athena, the milk specially formulated to meet our special nutritional needs.
Why I prefer Athena
- High calcium – essential for optimum bone health. It is also a source of Vitamins D and K, Magnesium and Phosphorus – nutrients to help maintain strong bones
- Low in Fat so we can enjoy this beverage without the risk of high caloric intake
- Source of Anti-oxidants such as Vitamins A & E and Zinc to help maintain healthy skin and promote optimum immune function
I may say Athena is a delicious beverage made just for us. It comes in two flavors – Milk and Choco. It’s available online and in-store at Mercury Drugstore, Watsons, and Southstar.
