This is my little man finding peace amid the chaotic carnival. He loves to sleep as much as he loves to play and have his milk. His mama, too, loves to sleep beside her son and even play, read, and listen to classical music on their bed. Who wouldn’t get excited seeing a bed? It spells comfort, love, and acceptance.
For her one-year-old and this mama, our bed is our exclusive space for cuddles and joyfulness. We love it all fluffy and silky. I imagine us laying on a cloud as it sends us to sleep. Sometimes, too, we appreciate it all thick and quilted. We feel its warmth as it cuddles us to dreamland. It is very important then for me that my little darling gets enough sleep. I have read many pieces of literature that the growth hormone is primarily secreted during deep sleep. Also, it is during sleep that a baby’s brain is busy learning. I once read as well that an infant remembers names of objects better if he takes a short nap.
Ideal Bedding essentials for our small house
Having a cozy place to crawl into every nap or sleep time can affect our day or night. Same with choosing our bedding. It can make a huge difference in our comfort level. It can also affect our power to sleep soundly. Thus, this momi is finicky when it comes to choosing her bed covers and pillow cases. Comfort, for her, is a personal choice. And I choose wrinkle-free microfiber sheets to embrace our mattress and a pleated comforter above. If I want to be a little sentimental and homey, I prefer those quilted and embroidered ones. And one of the nicest places to shop for any one’s ideal bedding essentials is at Groupon.
Aside from the nicest selections of comforters and pillow cases, duvets, and even fleece throw blankets, Groupon lets me save. It is such a great money-saving resource with the many substantial and considerable choices from different brands. A great plus as well is that membership is absolutely free!
Again, for this momi and her baby, having a comfortable place to crawl into every nap or sleep time is very important. Even if the design of our bed cover is one chaotic carnival, if amidst that turmoil, we find peace then our whole day will be filled with lots of cuddles and joyfulness.
I agree with Ed and Deb Shapiro when they said
If, amidst the turmoil, you can find just one moment of peace in each day, then your whole life will become more joyful.
