My firstborn would like to have a BB-8™. It is an app-enabled droid and its movements and personality are as authentic as they are advanced. He wished for that last Christmas. And it was still his birthday request last May 17. On two occasions, I was not able to buy him one. I told him we need the money for his and his siblings’ school enrollment. He must be very sad. And I am equally heartbroken for not granting his wish.
Last Saturday, this mother got an invite from a fellow mom of a smart Jedi. It was her son’s seventh birthday and the theme of the party was Star Wars! I was not sure if it was a smart move to bring along my boys but I did anyway. It was the closest way to giving my firstborn his Star Wars fixation.
As we entered the function room, I readily felt the overflowing love the mom has for her young Jedi. The Galactic Mission 7 Party was so grand and organized. Everything was Star Wars from the backdrop to the props, from the balloons and even the food display. I secretly wished I could give such grand party to my boys. But the reality is, we need to prioritize. And priority is their studies.
The lovely mom of the celebrant, Marylaine Viernes was such a hands-on host during the entire event. She partnered with equally beautiful brands to make the party all the more fun-filled and exciting. Almost everyone brought home bags of giveaways and prizes from Cordlife, Prettylooks, Giant Carrier, Home Suites, Command (3M Philippines) Sweet Creations by Mums, Tiny Buds, and Summit Media. Other event partners were BPI, Philips Avent, EPSON, and Goldilocks.
Command Brand was extremely generous giving out freebies to all guests, game prizes to contestants, and special gift packs to bloggers. My boys particularly enjoyed the exceptional exploratory photo wall featuring a few of the excellent products of Command. Command, by the way, is one of the preferred and trusted mounting products that provide damage-free hanging solutions for our home and office improvement projects.
That was how we spent our Saturday. I hope you also had a great day! Would love to hear them as well.
