MOMI MUSINGS/ until  when?

May 3, 2016 | Only Berlin

They say the bond between a lactating mother and her child is so strong that the baby could easily feel when his mom is not around. He seems not to want to be separated from his mama, his main source of food and comfort.

Just like this morning, you wailed uncontrollably when I told you to give me a few minutes so I could get our laundry.  That made me rush back to your side.  You do not want to stay in your rocker nor play with  your blue elephant. So I settled you beside the clothes I have folded and you just sat there- contented and smiling.

Oh, until when will you ever want me by your side?

So insanely funny and perhaps, selfish for me to wish DO NOT GROW UP TOO FAST. Why not just enjoy every moment because, well, children grow up way too fast.

I just love you, our darling Yael.

Yesterday was your second month old celebration, though we really didn’t get to celebrate literally.  But thank you for your patience and giving mama comfort while she has been so stressed out with home and mommy duties.

* That’s my darling little boy at two months.  He is now nearing nine months and he is still very clingy and I am so loving it — most of the time.

It’s really tough to let them go. You just want them beside you for as long as you could keep them there. I feel you on that one. I’m glad you’re enjoying parenting, this is such a lovely proof that a child is the best thing that life can give us.
