Everyone was in awe. A tunnel of about a million lights enveloped guests as they enter the Residence Inn. This is the newest night attraction at the popular get-away vacation spot in the heart of splendid Tagaytay.
Robert Yupangco, president of the Zoomanity Group, together with business partners and close family members, welcomed guests at the launch of the Power of Litez and Sounds last Saturday, March 26 at the Residence Inn. The Power of Litez and Sounds is a striking presentation of music, colors, and one million lights at the famed inn and theme park.

Mr. Robert Yupangco (second from right) and his dear mother Mrs. Nita Laurel Yupangco (middle), together with distinguished guests, led the ribbon cutting ceremonies to officially open the light-lit tunnel at Residence Inn.
“On my recent trip to Japan, a spectacular more than a million light installation was opened in the Nabana no Sato Botanical Garden in Kuwana. I was truly impressed with what they refer to as the best light show in the country, and so I would want to bring that same excitement to the Philippines,” Yupangco disclosed during the launch.
Yupangco also led his guests through a long and impressive lit tunnel with the breathtaking view of the Taal Lake as a backdrop and the cool Tagaytay breeze filling the air.
Aside from the glittering lights within the place, guests are expected to watch out for the Red and Green magic shows that will surely delight both the young and young at heart. The magic show, professionally choreographed by the inn’s resident performers, is fast-paced with a combination of amazing effects and illusions, family-friendly comedy and romance, dazzling costumes, sparkling lights and excellent music.
“We are making these improvements and additions because not everyone has the extra time to travel or money to spend to far away places. We are offering budget-friendly destinations very near the metro especially that summer is here. At Residence Inn, kids and kids-at-heart can spend quality time away from school and work and enjoy wonderful scenery, quality food, exciting attractions and exhilarating rides, and comfortable accommodations,” Yupangco elaborated.
Residence Inn is famous for its Carribean-style air conditioned view-deck hotel rooms complete with lifestyle facilities and modern-day conveniences. The panoramic view of the famed Taal Volcano and its lake straight from the guest’s hotel window is what makes travelers come back at Residence Inn aside from its fairytale-inspired mini zoo. Some of its worth the bucket list activities are wall climbing, horseback riding, zip line, and cable car. And of course, Residence Inn is the go-to-place for that very authentic and mouthwatering bulalo, hotly served in the restaurant or in the comforts of the guest’s hotel room.
The Power of Litez and Sounds is available on weekends until August 31, 2016. So this summer, pack light and visit the ever-so-accessible Tagaytay. Experience its comforting cool breeze of air, green pastures perfect for horseback riding, and the awe-inspiring view of the Taal Volcano and its lake. And one place that offers these plus some heart-pounding activities, a variety of shops for novelty items and pasalubongs, a long stretch of mini zoo, and a relaxing room to stay is Residence Inn. You could also have there your bowl of authentic and tempting bulalo.
The Zoomanity Group is a chain of world-class theme parks handled by the Yupangco Group of Companies. Aside from the Residence Inn, other theme parks managed by Zoomanity are Zoobic Safari in Subic, Zambales; Zoocobia in Clark, Pampanga; Paradizoo in Mendez, Cavite; Zoocolate Thrills in Bohol; and Zootopia in Nagano, Japan.

Wow! You won’t believe how similar that tunnel of lights is to a Christmas event here in my city, Austin, Texas (USA). Out of curiosity just google “Austin Trail of Lights” and you will see! 🙂 Here it’s wider, but the effect is exactly the same. It’s so amazing, isn’t it? I love it!!!!
Will definitely google it after replying to you! Ihihi.
Oh wow! Now we have another reason to visit Tagaytay! I’m sure mage-enjoy ang little baby boy ko looking into those lights! 🙂

Oh the tunnel is soooo amazing! I heard that zoocobia in Clark is a fun play for the kids too.
Off then to Zoocobia to experience the fun as well. The kids just so love summer as they get to visit a lot of places without worrying about exams and assignments.
