MOMI MUSINGS/  Sometimes, getting some fresh air is all we need to recharge and bring everything into perspective.

Nov 20, 2015 | Only Berlin

As husband would put it, as the world leaders converge by the bay, the most charming individuals unite by manicured landscapes of UP Sunken Garden to unwind from the day’s hustle and bustle. And from the laughter of the boys, this mother is positive that her loved ones are not only enjoying the picturesque landscape but are also taking pleasure in the company of one another.

She is also happy that she is able to walk, sit, and breathe outside their small abode, and fill herself with the abundance of energy nature has to offer.

Start of our walk with the three-month old baby in tow.

up2

He may not be that showy, but I know from his look and smile, he cares for his baby brother.  He even volunteers to push our little one while his other brothers jog.

up3

While strolling, I can’t help but admire UP buildings’ architecture.

up5

My two boys get to enjoy the field as their mother is busy documenting everything. It’s not everyday that we do these things.

up4

Also a rare opportunity to have our pictures taken.

up7

We stayed a bit late.  Looking around, the streets of UP Campus are all ours to enjoy.

up9

I am positive that simple walks like these will help recharge our weary souls.

up8

The kind of “peace and quiet” I need to bring everything into perspective.

It’s crazy that after that short nature getaway, the boys are eager to help at home and even spare time to look after their baby brother. Truly, finding time for the kids make them feel more appreciated and cared for thus they are more than willing to pay forward the love.

Sometimes, getting some fresh air  is all we need to recharge and bring everything into perspective.

Thank you APEC meeting for this opportunity.

The smile tells it all  – moments like these will be forever cherished and best if repeated.

How I wish we have APEC holiday too but we’re resided outside NCR so my son has classes. I like your pedestrian picture. You’re lucky na game ang mga kids mo sa picture. 🙂

haha. Thank you. They are always game kapag nature trip. Its not very often that we go out kasi.

Seen the 2016 calendar and sad to say, halos lahat ng holidays puro Saturday or SUnday. 🙁

I love how parents see things differently…I mean while some complain of the traffic that APEC brought, others consider this an opportunity, like an opportunity for family bonding 🙂 good for you and looks like everyone enjoyed it.

How I wish my son can experience that kind scenery, since he is always in the house and mall.He can enjoy park and green fields if he is in the farm or out of town. Nice family pic 🙂

Thanks. I hope to visit more parks than malls especially that we have a baby. The boys could also ran and just play sa field.
