After giving birth four months ago, I visited my OB Gynecologist. It was more of a request from my doctor to make sure that my C-section is healing properly. Aside from checking my physical recovery from the pregnancy and delivery, she perhaps would want to check how I am doing emotionally and address my needs going forward.
Why I need milk
One of the things she mentioned me to do is drink my milk. And her explanation encompasses everything. Milk does well on the body. For one, milk is a great source of calcium which is needed to keep the bones strong, reducing the risk of developing osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a bone loss which often happens in middle and old age. This is because women and the elderly are more prone to critical bone degradation.
