MOMI SMILES| No-compromise mom

I am a no-compromise parent.  When it comes to my boys, I only give, use, and believe in what is the best.  My children are the only real treasures that I have so their best interests are always my top priority.

About two Sundays ago, a dear friend visited us at the small house.  I wasn’t able to finish our laundry last Saturday so she saw me washing a few baby clothes.  She took notice of the laundry detergent I was using and asked me if it adds up to the budget using different laundry soaps for the babies and for the grown-ups.

I can accept anything, except what seems to be the easiest for most people: the half-way, the almost, the just-about, the in-between.

No compromise parenting

I have experienced sleepless nights taking care of a sick child.  I have treated a dozen and more scratches, burns, and bruises.  This momi was able to deal with her kids’ itchiness and skin irritations a number of times.  I have learned my lessons the hard way.  And this time, I only have my little ones’ best interest at heart.

I mentioned to my friend that when it comes to my boys, there will never be half-way, almost, just-about, and even in-between. [tweetshareinline tweet=”My only choice is the best.” username=”IfZgcz8ZKo14VSCu3y8ejhrBGaCG*R!N:1:0″]

What is the best?

There are many promises in the world.  How would I ever find the best for my kids?  My answer is just simple. [tweetshareinline tweet=”Finding the best in life is like finding your best friend.” username=”IfZgcz8ZKo14VSCu3y8ejhrBGaCG*R!N:1:0″]

A true friend is true to his word

A true friend is true to her word.  She is someone who does not consider lying just to smooth over a conflict or make someone happy.  She articulates reality.  She is a person of great integrity.

A true friend makes you happy

Merely a true friend’s presence makes one happy.   There was a time I was so down.  I met my dear friend before heading home because her happiness is contagious.  She told me she got a promotion and it made my day better, too.  So just like that, a true friend makes one happy with her mere presence and her own accomplishments.

A true friend makes you feel good about yourself

Perhaps, one of human’s greatest faults is negative self-criticism.   But she feels better about herself when she has encouraging people in her life.  Just like my dear friend, she can truly lift my spirits and before we depart, I already feel good about myself.  This is because a true friend lifts one up when she is feeling down.

A true friend makes you feel valuable

A true friend makes one feel she is needed, important, and indispensable.  She asks for advice and her friend listens.    That friend lets the other person feel that her opinion is valuable and she herself is indispensable.

Follow your instincts

Just like I follow my instinct in finding a true friend, I likewise follow my intuition in finding the best.  If it doesn’t feel right, it isn’t.  If I am unhappy with my latest find and can’t see its loyalty, then I don’t immediately fall into its trap.   [tweetshareinline tweet=”I do not settle for the half-way, the almost, the just-about, and the in-between. ” username=”IfZgcz8ZKo14VSCu3y8ejhrBGaCG*R!N:1:0″]Instinct tells us who is a dear friend and what is the best product.

A baby’s skin is extremely sensitive.  Harsh chemicals that are present in regular laundry detergents may actually cause allergy and irritation on the baby’s skin.  These chemicals are bleach, dyes, fabric softeners, and optical brighteners.

From the many products we have tried and tested, I am happy that finally, I have found the best.  I considered it the best as I no longer see those rashes and patches on my babies’ skin.   It is true to its word that there are no harsh chemicals on it.  Using the product  – Cycles Mild Laundry Detergent – makes me feel happy and valuable.

Likewise, I have met other moms who believe in Cycles as well. They, too, share my same belief that our little ones deserve only the best.  I joined their community and together, we call ourselves the no-compromise moms.

Now you remind me of my HS best friend. It’s been a while since I last saw her – 2012 to be exact. She now works abroad and from time to time, we still chat online. When I was younger, I thought it’d be cool to have lots of friends, only to realize later on that quality so more important that quantity.

Like Nilyn, I also believe in quality over quantity, I only have few friends but at least I know that I can trust them. It is really hard to have trusted friend so kahit isa lang, blessed ka na. I also used Cycles when my son was still a baby.

Ofcourse it should always be the “best” for our family. I dont mind skimpping on myself to spend on quality items for my children. Ganyan talaga mga magulang .

I also use Cycles for my daughter’s clothes. I love the smell! And so far it’s proven to be mild since it hasn’t caused any allergies and my kid’s clothes still look new. Do we get to buy products online by signing up?

how does this smell? is it fruity or flowery sweet? I’m curious. Or does it smell like perla? hehehe I remember when I was a kid my mom would wash our clothes with perla kasi daw yun daw ang dapat for the ones with sensitive skin. It’s so nice to see na mas marami na ang options ng mommies today in this day and age 🙂

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Cycles Sensitive. Very good for newborn and baby clothes since its not harsh daw. As a mom we want to give our babies the best talaga.
