Two Saturdays ago, this momi and his second son attended a Halloween party called “Kids in the City.” It was at The Grove by Rockwell. The afternoon was filled with various booths all featuring engineering and robotics-related activities that everyone was able to enjoy. It was, for this reason, I brought along my second son. Among my boys, he is most inclined to engineering. His school club, moreover, is engineering.
It was truly a fun event, seeing kids dressed up as an astronaut or an engineer, a ballet dancer, and even a gymnast. There came a few little ones dressed up as superheroes, too. The children played games such as Movin’ on up and Baby Rattle, while their family cheered them on.
Indeed, the event’s mission was very much achieved. Everyone had fun!
There was also a Zumba class led by Zumba licensed instructor Maricris Wee. A magic show by Zam the Magician left everyone in awe. And almost everyone just came home a winner. Loot bags filled with goodies were given out during the event.
By the way, the Kids in the City was brought to us by Good Housekeeping and Smartparenting.com.ph. It was made even possible with Rockwell Land and Engineering by Kids as event partners.
More than the fun and excitement, it was an event I will forever consider as one of my favorites. There, I saw how my second son cares for his younger sibling.
