They share the same birth month. The older one just celebrated its golden year while the other has just entered his teen years. Both though have something in common aside from their birth month – they are loyal and loving.
We celebrated my firstborn’s birthday in a very simple manner. We just dined in and had him blow his birthday cake. That day, we went home not very tired but happy.
A few days after my son’s celebration, we got an invitation to the 50th birthday of the country’s number one bakeshop, Goldilocks. And it was the grandest of all celebrations we got to attend. Part of its Birthday Caravan was bringing in of employees, customers and media partners to the Enchanted Kingdom. The Goldilocks Birthday Caravan was one of many initiatives the Philippines’ best-loved bakeshop has undertaken this 2016 to commemorate five decades of sweet moments and countless Filipino celebrations.
Have I told you Goldilocks and firstborn share a few similarities? They are both loyal and loving. Goldilocks, even after half a century of leadership, continues to move forward and find new and innovative ways to serve its next generation of customers. Its loyalty and love to its customers as well cannot be dismissed as during its Birthday Caravan, Goldilocks provided everything from transportation to lunch, entrance tickets, ride-all-you-can passes and even Wizard Money for the total enjoyment of its guests.
I brought along my firstborn and youngest to the merriment. All of us were treated to a carefree and fun-filled experience, making us all tired for the day but definitely happy. And all throughout our stay at the amusement park, my firstborn helped me with his younger sibling. He would look after him from time to time especially when I needed a few minutes for myself. He is that loving!
Thank you, Goldilocks for sharing your love with us. We truly enjoyed your treat. You gave this momi a time to spend with her firstborn.
And just like any other birthday party, we got to take home a few Goldilocks treat for our family at home. Once again, thank you.
* It was May 15, 1966 when Goldilocks first opened its doors to the public. Since then, Goldilocks has become a Filipino icon and a cherished family tradition for generations of customers.
